Just Us
not really a Shoegaze expert, but definitely check out Beach Fossils, especially the "What A Pleasure" EP as well as the "Clash The Truth" LP. Wild Nothing's "Nocturne", as itsgoodtobefree pointed out, is a totally awesome album! Uplifting and joyful and at the same time melancholic as hell. Also suitable if you dig The Smiths for example (my opinion). Hallo Martin

nickxmurphy
I checked out Makthaverskan - "II" when Run For Cover gave it a North American release recently. It's one of the first dream pop-y records I've heard and I like it a lot.

Danh
Just wanted to add that I pre-ordered The Bilinda Butchers' "Heaven" the other day. $20 is a bit high for a single LP, but I guess it's a bit understandable since there were only 250 copies pressed. I usually like to listen to a whole album before deciding on whether to buy it, but I'm taking a gamble with this one. Hope I don't regret it. jrodan
Fixed that for you i dont usually do this, but you absolutely did not "fix this for me" whatsoever. 'kaleidoscope' is a terrific song, but it does not hold a candle to 'two girls'. and that video? pure sex.
