Cloudsbelow reacted to Werner Herzog in SCAMMER AMONGST US AKA HOMEWORK
It's hard to feel empathetic towards someone who lashes out on others. Sorry for your loss?

Cloudsbelow reacted to TFP in Bought a house SS updated 11/16 (Relient K X-Mas, Jim Adkins, MCR, FOB, WeCAR, All Time Low)
You're selling Relient K for more than double, did you buy both new colors and are now selling them each off at double+more?

"Minimum Post count to start a thread" <----Yes, great idea.

Cloudsbelow reacted in Survey in concerns for a new Record Organizer
I don't give a shit if you're HS kid, we got a few of them around, it's the fact you come here to post some dumbass survey as your first post.

Cloudsbelow reacted to Kyte30351 in Black Friday RSD - 2015
I really only want three releases this year and I have no doubt that Rich Robinson's new 7" will be easy to find. Maybe mildly worried 'bout David Bowie's "Earthling," but not really.
My main concern is the Transformers gatefold. It's been a favorite movie/soundtrack since I was a kid so I really wanna be able to snag it.
But my local beer store is gonna have a lot more fun and cool stuff happenin' this year.

Cloudsbelow reacted to Stravinsky in PO Now: Sigur Ros "Takk" Repress
The obvious answer being I didn't order from TurntableLab/etc., so why should I care if they fulfill their orders?
I have zero level of "concern" with Bullmoose. I pre-order with them almost exclusively, and have nothing but excellent things to say about them and their customer service.

Hue should contact the band about it.

Who gives a fuck if it's yellow? Does it play fine? Keep it and quit bitching.

Cloudsbelow reacted to tonyfranciosa in PO Now: Nirvana - "From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah" (reissue)
counterpoint: the performances on this are kinda poorly chosen. The Live at Reading record is my go-to Nirvana live album (the one that came with the Bleach reissue is good too).

Cloudsbelow reacted to unravelled in PO: Blur -The Magic Whip
Great little record. Probably never would have heard it at $45 shipped. Glad I waited this one out !

As this is my 4th copy I don't really care too much what it sounds like.

Cloudsbelow reacted to Sad Heart in What are you Top 10 albums of all time?
Hahaha. I appreciate your strong opinions cause I know you have good reason for it. For me it's the first three. I don't need anything after that. But I sure as hell can't choose my faovrite from those. They each have their own sound, own style, own theme. I have the best memories connected to Crisis, but I think I enjoy Watch Out! more. Hell, if I put on any Alexisonfire song I'm going to be listening to them for a few hours. I remember seeing them at Bamboozle in '06. They were the first band of the day, so it was like at 11:30AM. I don't think I've ever seen a band with so much energy, especially that early in the morning, like god damn. SO much respect.

It's a shame I end up exporting a Canadian band to Canada. Enjoy.

Cloudsbelow reacted to Canuckle in PO Now: Sigur Ros "Takk" Repress
I think it's great. I'm not necessarily a folk fan but the record is dynamic and each song can stand on it's own. That being said I find the pressing a tad bit noisy... but I guess that adds to the charm.

Cloudsbelow reacted to DecayToDeath in SS: Beatssolo2 headphones, Citizen, Balance and Composure, Man Overboard
Why gift only? Doesn't that kinda raise some suspicion for scams?
-
Cloudsbelow reacted to museummouth in The Mark Kozelek/Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters thread
That's just how the album is produced.

Cloudsbelow reacted to clerk3745 in The Mondo Records Thread - You think limited? Will sell fast?
If I can get them to combine 3 records in one shipment... more money saved. Its not like I got ladies knockin' down the door clamoring for the Army of Darkness blue and black vortex.

Cloudsbelow reacted to Bladewillisisdead in Would you pay $5 for this?
I regularly tip $5 when I order one beer at the bar.
I would not spend $5 on this.

Cloudsbelow got a reaction from natenomm in The SYNTHWAVE Thread
got my dangerous days picture disc.. and its amazing. cleaner press than a lot of regular black vinyl pressings.
very please. I'll give the terror 404 gitd a spin (then a clean on the vpi) and report back.
edit. gitd is definitely has a bit more surface noise than the red/blue split. after giving it a thorough wet cleaning it was much improved.. little noise here and there but only in very quiet passages and between tracks... all in all I'd say it was better than expected.
