I haven't seen any praise for Zeitgeist. Sadly it's better than this recent stuff. I would rank Oceania as their best of the sp era 2.0

Hooray! is revolting.
This might be the first SP album I don't buy. There are some moments that might be brilliant, I like Steps in Time quite a bit. The pervasive overuse of synths and electronic drums is frustrating enough, but the musical theater/Disney soundtrack aspect to this whole thing is just so off-putting, I can't do it.

I paid 49$ each, so it was like just under 300 for four after fees

Cmon man, all you gotta do is imagine you're listening to an inferior version of Pink Floyd and it makes it all better...

Love the shirt discussion. My favorites have been Next Level 60/40 shirts (code # N6210 according to the blanks I buy on Amazon). It seems like Bella Canvas shirts have slightly looser necks by default and stretch out easier. I like a well-fitted neck haha. Tultex has weird shapes sometimes too. Haven't bought a shirt printed on American Apparel in like a decade+ for some reason.
Surprisingly, I also really like Gildan ultra cotton longsleeve shirts too. I have multiple blanks of black and sport grey that I wear pretty often.
I remember in the mid-late 00's seeing bands splurge for printing on American Apparel instead of (most often cheaper) Gildan and just thinking those AA shirts were the greatest thing ever haha. I still remember the first one I bought was a Blood Brothers shirt in 2005 and I wore it all the time because it was so comfortable.
Someone should make a separate thread for shirt collections haha. I still have the majority of shirts I bought through the years (mostly Milwaukee/Midwest hardcore bands from the 00's). Some of them were really cool that I wish still fit.

Oh, I much prefer the soft bed sheet feel. I've never had a problem with the way the fit is though. On 100% cotton V-necks some of those shirts (Bella, American Apparel, Next Level) can get a bit wonky on the collar but other than that those are my perfect fits. The tri-blend collars are actually much sturdier and straighter.
Gildan feels like someone is shoving me into a rigid cardboard t-shirt shaped box that put a spell on me to convince me it was actually cotton shirt material. Makes me want to punch things.

Same! Bella Canvas are my fav t-shirts ever and they are all I want to wear.

That's interesting. I'm usually pissed when shirts are NOT on Bella Canvas. Their easily one of the softest and nicest feeling shirts you can print on. What's your gripe with them? I usually pass on awesome shirts when I find out they're printed on Gildan.

Alan P got a reaction from INRIhab in IODINE RECORDS thread (PO Now: BUCKET FULL OF TEETH)
I finally spun the Iodine Oxblood SAS LP, and damn, it sounds amazing! So much richer, fuller, and more powerful than the original mix. My perspective on "Rituals of Life" is so wild. I listened to it so much from 1999-2002 or so because I saw Stretch at least once a year in that span. But then from 2010-2020 I totally forgot about this album, and then saw them at Furnace Fest the past two years and now this album is probably in my top 10 albums of 1999.

Alan P got a reaction from Mars in PO: Metric - Fantasies - Repress
FYI I have had Metric- "Fantasies" and "Synthetica" on my wantlist for a long time but never pulled the trigger because of how expensive they are (mostly checked on Discogs/eBay). However, I did a random search a couple days ago and found them both on MerchBar for $25 each. I placed the order to see what would happen, expecting to get an email a couple days later that they weren't actually in stock. However, I just got a shipping notification! Have these been repressed? Anyway, here's a link:

THIRD MAN RECORDS ANNOUNCES SOUTHEAST OF SATURN. VOL. 2 OUT DECEMBER 2 – Third Man Records – Official Store
Third Man Records is excited to announce Southeast Of Saturn Vol. 2, to be released December 2, 2022. The compilation is a follow-up to 2020’s Southeast of Saturn, a collection of music from Detroit’s space-rock/shoegaze/dream pop scene of the ‘90s. The second volume expands upon the Michigan-centric aural delights purveyed on Vol. 1, by including groups from throughout the Midwest. Highlighting groups spanning Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, Vol. 2 works to cement the Midwest's status as a breeding ground for the space-rock and shoegaze subgenres, which more famously burgeoned in the UK.
Exclusive limited-edition copies of Southeast Of Saturn Vol. 2 on Full Moon & Great Lake colored vinyl will be available in select independent record stores across the US and in UK/EU, as well as at Third Man Records’ Nashville and Detroit storefronts. Hard to deny the heavy UK influence on many of these midwest US bands, so keep an eye out for a special Detroit, Minneapolis and London release day events - TBD.
Once again, there are no big names or crossover artists on Southeast Of Saturn Vol. 2. However, for those who know that digging deep in the real and virtual record bins yields the greatest rewards, this 18-track compendium will trigger profound swoons. We've scoured the Midwestern underground, highlighting the evanescent acts of the 90’s such as Star Phase 23 and Sidereal, so you don't have to.
Southeast of Saturn Vol. 2 is first-class aural escapism from America's big-shouldered outpost of outward-bound rock.
Tracklist:
1. Colfax Abbey - "Feel"
2. Star Phase 23 - "How To Be A+"
3. Monaural - "Rhodes"
4. Grimble Grumble - "Odyssey and Oracle"
5. Sidereal - "Barrette"
6. Fauna - "To Ecstasy"
