It's very hit and miss though, I've seen them a few times and Stephen sounds phenomenal, but I've also heard him sound really bad.

Very much so. I compared it to other signed stuffs I have and damn, it's hella sloppy. But I can appreciate it that it's actually her doing the signing instead of an auto-pen or some lackey she may have.

I loved DF and was bummed to see it go, but its absence helped me really appreciate the expansiveness of Discogs. That said, I always preferred browsing other people's lists on DF over Discogs. It's so much more streamlined for quick browsing.

Unrelated to the vinyl edition...I ordered all 8 CD's...stupid, I know...but it's funny how weird UMG are with their shipping. I received #1 already. Received the rest except #3 yesterday. And now #3 is out for delivery today. 
 
I hope that doesn't happen with the vinyl editions. Although...it'd be better as less of a chance of damage to them if all 8 were to be shipped together. 
 
 

I was able to run out at lunch at grab a signed CD as they popped up at Newbury Comics locations all through Boston today.  Really really pumped I got one after missing out last week.

Because Big Machine makes terrible vinyl.

Loving these reissues. I’m surprised there wasn’t a thread for the first batch. We should make this a Prince super-thread since this reissue campaign will be going on for quite a bit. 

I'm still just bummed it's not a 10" slipmat. That would've been SOOO ridiculous (yet on point for SB).

Weirdly enough he actually checks a lot of boxes most people couldn’t. Beyond a doubt committed to black communities and minority issues, and poverty in general. “Christian” enough that if Trump got a pass, he could too. An undeniable independent to break the two party insider system. Elon for cabinet, Kim for public outreach, and potentially could be endorsed by Obama and Trump at the same time. Probably not Bush though.
 
Plus he could fund universal healthcare with the ticket sales to the inauguration concert. I’m down

Vintage Vinyl in St Louis got signed CDs as well.
From what I understand Taylor was personally paying the entire payroll for Grimeys in Nashville for awhile while they were closed.
For sure she is doing more than her part to help out indie stores.
 
- and as a side I believe I read that starting in October Billboard is changing the rules on bundling records with tickets/other items, so guessing those may become less prevalent.

USPS is literally holding first class, parcel,  and media mail from being sorted to slow down the mail to prove the USPS is inefficient. Friends who are postal workers told me they are being directed to not sort certain types of mail. So items are sitting for days or weeks all over the country. It's a crapshoot. Some stuff gets delivered in a normal time-frame, others not. It's a fucking mess. The GOP is doing everything they can to sabotage the election and they want to privatize the postal service like everything else they've fucked up over the last few decades. 

I work in a planetarium and have such difficulty with their application of the word 'galaxy' here.

Once this pre-order window closes, a new one opens for the same exact variants, but with colored album art.  “True Fan” edition.  Tip-on jackets.  Anything you bought this week will literally pale in comparison.

My fiancé and I listened to it on our drive on Saturday. It was her first listen and my third. She said “it’s too slow and all the songs sound the same.”
