It's called Evolution because it's a concept album about the life of the Galapagos tortoise. Danny Carey has recently developed an interest in equatorial sea life. That's why he started The Legend of Seagullmen. The new album closes with a rework of a Rage Against the Machine song featuring Zach De La Rocha during the breakdown called Know Your Anemone.

Same here. My copy sounds fine. Definitely not one.of my best sounding records, but it seems to fit the sound of the overall album quite well. 

I'd pay $51. 

Sounds like this is mastered for vinyl from the original digital files. It was never recorded to tape, so that's the best we can hope for. Damien mentioned that it's taken so long because of past issues with test pressings, so it sounds like the quality control is going to be there.

This seems pointless. I'd rather just listen to Silverchair.  Why are we at the point where we need a tribute to Silverchair?

I’m not sure if they were trying to send the message of “here you go have three you baby” or if they genuinely thought “if we throw 3 into the same box surely one of them won’t get beat up, right?”.

So, I'm the only one on here who thinks the new song is pretty much a yawn?  It sounds like a boring Rival Schools song that doesn't go anywhere.  It feels so excrementable.

This is half a great album. Side A kills. Side B bores me. But I'll definitely pick up a copy. 

I heard that Sandbag isn't shipping out any replacement jackets until we can go one full week without complaining.

For anyone popping into this thread randomly, these guys are one of if not THE most underrated bands of all time. I probably wouldn't start with any of these necessarily, maybe Congregation, but Gentlemen and Black Love are perfection. Now all we need is a Blackberry Belle repress and I'll be set.

That's funny because I made a list of all the people I'm never buying from based on the comments in this thread! 

Box set showed up today. This thing is stunning. I managed to fit the records into the box still in their paper sleeves. I wasn't able to do that with my AMSP box. It makes things a little wonky, but gives some extra protection to the records. I'm excited to give this a spin and see how it compares to my blue pressing, although I've only listened to Side E on the blue pressing so far. Listened to it about 20 times, that is. Having official recordings of "Lift" and "Man of War" on vinyl is all that I need.

I certainly wouldn't accept delivery without the issue being fixed---i.e., Sandbag should send replacement mailers and address their shipping issues, the first of which has already happened for a bunch of people on here with Deviations, including myself.  My Before the Flood showed up perfect.  The other records should too.  There's no reason a company cannot get records to consumers in mint condition.  They're brand fucking new.
