There are some crazier tracks – or at least moments of tracks – but yeah, I would say the 2 singles do a great job at hinting the direction they've gone without giving too much away.  They even dabble in distorted electronics [without it feeling too terribly forced or phoned in] and I think it works... but it won't be for everyone, that's for sure.  I'm personally into the expansion of their sound because it's gonna' give their first 3 albums a lot more "bite" when I'm itching for their more chompy, riff-loaded sound.

Gotta' be their most artistic endeavor yet.  Easily more mature than anything they've done to date – I'm so glad they've veered away from becoming too predictable.  There are some undeniably nutty moments on this record but as a whole I think it lurches and burns slower than the riffy, urgent nature of Ultra Mono.  I think they've been toying with this sound for a bit now, but this is the first time they're seeing it through on a full album scale.  I don't think the album will be as immediately catchy or gratifying as the last couple, but I can already feel it as a grower for me.

There will be no Vault edition for it.

At their show last night, Ben announced that they're pressing their S/T album to be released this year as a 20th Anniversary Edition, 'but we're Lucero so everything got fucked up.' He said it's scheduled to be out by the end of the year, but supply chain and manufacturing issues might push it to early next year, so then it'll be a 21st Anniversary pressing.
 
I didn't think this was pressed on vinyl originally, so stay tuned!

Really liking Luca Brasi and Mercy Music! I had no idea the singer from Sharks had a new band, I was a huge fan of them and Violent Hearts seems to pick up where they left off. Thanks dude! 

All of these bands have put out a record in 2020-21 and feel at least tangentially related to orgcore (melodic punk, varying degree of gruff vocals, etc.):
Ways Away - Fronted by Jesse from Stick To Your Guns, has members of Samiam, Paint It Black; their 2020 record is amazing and they have a new one coming in 2022 The Young Hearts - Melodic punk from the UK Luca Brasi - Melodic punk/indie from Australia, new album just came out this year and it's amazing Lost Love - Canadian melodic punk, have played Fest a couple times I think, new album JUST came out and it's solid The Violent Hearts - UK melodic punk with a little post-punk influence, features the vocalist from SHARKS, a punk band that was on Rise in the early to mid 2010's Cold Years - UK melodic punk a la Gaslight Anthem, new album last year that was enjoyable MercyMusic - US punk band, new album dropped last year, they're signed to Wiretap Records (if you haven't peeped that label's roster, I would recommend you scroll through there too. Not all hits for me, but there's a good chunk of orgcore-esque bands on that label). Hope this helps. Let me know what you think. Side note: That Luther record was super underrated. I need to spin that again soon.

Fiddlehead, Drug Church, Militarie Gun- Are all Melodic Hardcore -ish bands that I think are pretty spiritually close to the orgcore sound. Also bands like Anxious, Koyo, and Somerset Thrower, but they lean more hardcore

I grabbed the Brain Dead and the Dark Medicine exclusives. I love both singles so far. 

This should have been a vanity EP at best.  

Might be 6 of the best songs they've ever written.   EP is fantastic.

Last two?!? Brutalism is just as good as JAAAOR and better than Ultra Mono

Thought the track was super disappointing. This feels like a track 8 on an LP, not a lead single. Ultra Mono was a step in the wrong direction for me; this seems to be a continuation of that. The first two albums are fantastic though, so I'll keep an eye on this and give it a fair shake as more singles drop.

Oof, I've only seen the clip of Finn flopping around like a fish.
I hope we get to see "Prince Devitt is All Elite" someday.

Oh ya, the new One Step Closer album is out today on RFC. Basically HH/Defeater worship, but I'm into it.

All Out was that first wrestling PPV I watched in quite some time, and I loved it. Seeing Punk in the ring again was incredible. The surprises didn't miss; the women's battle royale was fun; the main event was fantastic; and the tag team match was wild. It was just everything you'd want from a wrestling event.
