i fell asleep on my couch and missed the show in my city on Friday.  They have pretty consistently had vinyl, a few shirts, patches and show poster the past times i have seen them. see no reason why this time would be any different.

They are playing in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Should I go to this?  I kind of jumped in late when I saw alot of people who were loving this band and checked them out and dug them.  It is like 10th grade screamo for me all over again. 

Just as an fyi listing by serial number will make it very confusing. Better off doing artist and title and if people have question on specific pressing they can go from there.

I was also at that show. They crushed. Played a few less songs than the other shows had. Was cool he did play jack the ripper as a request from the audience. He could easily play for 4 hours and you could walk away saying there were 15 songs you wish you heard.

So I am getting married early next year (YAY!)  things for weddings are not cheap (BOO!). Decided to thin out some of the collection to help fund things for it.

That only seems fair. 

weird al will be something I will always enjoy no matter how old I get.  I have seen him many times and his stage show is awesome.  first time i saw him i was 10.  it ruled. most recent time i saw him i was 26.  it ruled just as equally. his guitarist jim west is honestly one of the best guitarists I have ever seen live. 

Just got home from deltron 3030. Man that was fun. Kid koala did a 40 min solo set then spun for deltron as well. Was kinda surprised that dan the automator was their and performing. Know he did alot of production and stuff on the records but he did back up effects stuff as well as somewhat of a hype man.

where did you find that swans record for $18?

A couple of friends are but i am not. They seem super pumped. Im trying to save for the 9000 other shows im going to this month on pgh.

If you like the killing you would probably like night of the hunter. Its a good noir piece and robert mitcum gives a hell of a performance.
I always find it so hard to reccommend criterion releases because they always release such a wide range of stuff.
Some personal favorites are:

-Rebecca/spellbound/notorious/lady vanishes (all the hitchcock stuff they put out is fantastic)

-down by law
-throne of blood
-band of outsiders
-knife in the water
-slacker
-the whole cassavetes box set
Everything user Batman mentioned are all classics and worth owning as well.

Only was able to listen to one song off this album on spotify but i dig it. Havent listened to wo fat in forever. Gonna be my tunes to jam on the drive home

i received a picture disc in the mail a month ago that was in one of the oversized bubble mailers, no padding, and didnt even come in the picture disc sleeves or really any sleeve for that matter.  i picked it up and didnt know what it was since i didnt order anything that would fit in that package, only to find my record sliding all around.  
 
SOMEHOW the record was not damaged.  The seller was a bit confused when I sent him a pretty angry e-mail and negative feedback on ebay.
 
I am surprised I did not receive a shattered pile of record in the package.  I could somewhat understand if you ran out of cardboard padding or something and sent it just in an LP mailer but that was really bad...
