Fingers crossed this sale means Rise is dumping Merchnever (and hopefully everyone else will too).

Aesop Rock's 2007 album None Shall Pass is getting a repress. Street date 3/10/23. Have found a few different places to have it so far.  34.98 is best price I've found, which is miles better than the only available Newbury pressing (at $65).

I don't understand how anyone who understands records can look at a double (or more) LP and think "let's just make the sleeve extra wide and shove everything in there. Seems like the best way." I would rather have a gatefold with literally nothing on the inside than a thin cardboard box holding 4 vinyl circles. *heavily eyeballs the Fear deluxe on my shelf*

Hey Dave. For this kind of question I'd direct you to either discogs.com where you can read reviews of each pressing, or forums.stevehoffman.tv where they get into more of these type of discussions especially regarding classic albums.
 
I unfortunately don't think you'll find this site as helpful with these type of questions as your last question.

Lol.  Somebody’s mad because they wrote a hot turd and people called them out on it.

Listened to the album earlier today. It's not what I expected. Feels underwhelming and meh at best. It's almost as if it's suffering slight identity crisis. Overall, it sounds like Stone Sour doing Slipknot covers without any motivation to make something impactful.

Yeah, I saw that article the other day.  Jay Weinberg has some awesome moments but a lot of the songs don't feel like they should have been released under the Slipknot name.  Like maybe Cory wrote them or something.  All I know is I want hard driving, loud and heavy Slipknot and a large portion of this is not that.  If that's the direction they're going in, good for them, but I'm out on buying anything moving forward.
