I remember the simple times of VC, when everyone commented on getting their shipping notifications.

That would be my guess. Finish out livestreams and maybe announce the album when they get to Lowborn and then do a livestream on or after the release date?
They confirmed on one of the first couple livestreams that they had already been on working on a  new album for a while now. Don't think it's been mentioned in the more recent streams.

Anyone else think they might announce a new album at the end of all these live streams? I'm getting suspicious lol

I have a first press of this, so no need to buy, but I bought a Reborn shirt when I saw it. This is still a great album.

I have 2 copies. Both played through no problem. One was a bit warped but flattened with the Record Flat and all good. Plain white inners were ripped to shreds. Overall lucked out this and the Zao reissue playing fine.

"Happy new year, everyone. The soundtrack team is kicking off the year celebrating the heroes of the DC Universe, continuing throughout 2021 with the premiere vinyl pressings of soundtracks to multiple DC films and TV series.
We are leading the charge with a deluxe 3xLP pressing of Rupert Gregson-Williams' incredible soundtrack to the 2018 film AQUAMAN, which will be available beginning Wednesday.   We will continue the celebration with SHAZAM!, DOOM PATROL seasons 1 and 2, and a reissue of John Williams' 1978 masterwork SUPERMAN, with more hopefully arriving later in the year.    As always, all new releases go on sale Wednesday at Noon CST
      Aquaman Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
    Deluxe Edition 3XLP
    Music by Rupert Gregson-Williams
    Artwork by Pascal Blanché
    $45
Mondo, in partnership with WaterTower Music, is proud to present the premiere vinyl pressing and physical release of the Deluxe Edition of Rupert Gregson-Williams' brilliant score for 2018's global sensation AQUAMAN.   James Wan's AQUAMAN is one of our favorite comic book films of the last five years. We had to watch it multiple times on the big screen just to believe what we saw. And that achievement is equally owed to the brilliant Rupert Gregson-Williams for juggling the movie's nearly impossible-to-replicate tone. Always sincere, never ironic, always a good time — we are honored to celebrate this film and its score.   This Deluxe Edition release features the complete score as well as a disc of Bonus Tracks and Remixes, and includes the songs "Everything I Need" performed by Skylar Grey and "Ocean To Ocean" performed by Pitbull featuring Rhea.   Pressed on 3x180 Gram Translucent colored vinyl with splatter, the release features all new original artwork by the film's concept artist Pascal Blanché and is housed in a tri-fold jacket."

It was an open pre-order. I think they said they'd be numbered though... we'll have to wait and see.

I've probably ordered over 50 items from MerchNow over the years, one of my favourite places to order from.

Never had a single issue, customer service has always been reasonable (responding within a week and never had to fight with them about any problems.).  You need to remember that they are essentially a warehouse.  It's not their fault your order was delayed (it was either the pressing plant's or the band's fault).  It's not their responsibility to contact you about product changes (that would be the band or label's responsibility).

It's their job to pack up and mail you the merch that they received from the band/label, that's it.

The fact that I can add items from different bands and labels into one order is huge, I've saved so much on shipping over the years.

When the T&N/SS catalog was sold, I believe, they kept the rights to ABR and Demon Hunter. I thought I read that somewhere.

As far as it being a re-recording, I was just going off fan comments I've seen. So take it with a grain of salt.
It has been 15 years, they could be doing something for it's anniversary. And this was originally pressed for RSD several years ago. Maybe they've seen a demand and this will be a more widespread release?
