On October 22, Merge will reissue Superchunk’s long-out-of-print 2001 studio album Here’s to Shutting Up on CD, LP, and limited-edition orange swirl Peak Vinyl to commemorate its 20th anniversary. All three formats will include "Bestial Warning," a bonus CD of 13 previously unreleased demos. The Peak Vinyl edition also includes a 24" x 24" color poster.
Listen/pre-order: https://smarturl.it/HTSU
In addition to reissued album, you can also bundle your album with a Here's to Shutting Up koozie and t-shirt. Both of these items are also available as standalone items.

Thanks for looking.
It's instrumental.
My label is strictly instrumental; if you have an instrumental project, please stay in touch.
There are two pressings:
Japan press - superior quality - ships Aug 13
200 black vinyl, 1st 30 in silkscreen print sleeves (4 left).
Europe press-
170 purple (169 received and 100 copies too warped to distribute).
30 black
These arrived warped and the cut is bad. I went through 2 cuttings and gave up with this plant.
So the records are given away for free with orders of the Japan press above. Black comes with silkscreen.
About 4 of each left.
But also there's a hand-painted jacket version, also 4 left at the time of this post.
Due to pandemic, Japan Post has temporarily suspended acceptance of mail to USA, Brazil and Russia...
Purple (8 left, 4 in hand colored sleeves)
Here is Japan press mock up
Silkscreen print

If you care about vinyl for the music and listening to it, small dings shouldn’t matter because even if it affects the grade you’re not going to sell it.
Even rare older LPs with dings don’t affect the value much.

audiodrive got a reaction from arem in PO: Hollie Cook - Vessel of Love
From Merge Records:
Hot off the heels of sold-out shows at London’s The Borderline and LA’s Moroccan Lounge, West London native Hollie Cook unveils the January 26 release of her third full-length and Merge debut, Vessel of Love. To mark the occasion, Cook has dropped two songs from the album: “Freefalling” and “Survive.”
Pre-order Vessel of Love on CD or pink translucent Peak Vinyl in the Merge store, from these digital music providers, or these participating independent record stores. All pre-orders will receive a Hollie Cook button, while supplies last!
The tropical pop chanteuse has already cemented her position as one to watch this year after the release of lead single “Angel Fire” in July. The first taste of the new album received rave reviews from international outlets such as Mass Appeal, Clash, and Je Ne Sais Pop, and the track was playlisted on BBC Radio over the summer. Hollie’s vibrant, spirited take on lovers rock radiates positivity, allowing her to transcend the confines of a genre.
“Freefalling” finds Hollie’s sultry vocals positioned against a rocksteady beat, alluring synths, and a crooning brass section. Though the lyrics describe the intricacies of heartbreak, an unwavering sense of bliss prevails throughout, and the result is a life-affirming, feel-good jam that exudes enough warmth to keep burning all autumn long.
“Survive” is best described by Ms. Cook herself: “literally the most simply sincere love song I have written. Sometimes there's no other way to express how you feel about someone.”
In addition to touring the world for years with Ari Up in the pioneering female punk band The Slits, Cook previously collaborated with renowned dub producer Prince Fatty on her first two solo albums: her self-titled debut and its acclaimed follow-up, Twice. Singles such as “Milk & Honey” and “That Very Night” saw Hollie gain critical exposure via BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, 1Xtra and Radio X, culminating in a hypnotic television appearance on the prestigious Later… With Jools Holland. By enlisting the esteemed producer Martin “Youth” Glover—whose credits include U2, Paul McCartney, and Pink Floyd—to oversee her latest LP, Hollie has unlocked a maturity in her ever-evolving sound.
With supporters rallying from every corner, including Fred Perry’s Subculture, Jocks & Nerds, and Vanity Fair, Hollie Cook is gearing up for a triumphant year ahead with Vessel of Love, so expect to see her on top of the tropical throne of pop in 2018!

audiodrive reacted to thepunkguy in Limited to One Record shop, NYC
listen, I am going to say this once .
we are pricing everything in the store at the lowest possible discogs pricing
and anyone who knows me, knows that this isn't about making an extra ten bucks
or something, off of some new hard to find LP.
I have traveled to EU and Asia getting a lot of these records and have been (and still)
busting my ass and putting myself in debt to make this a reality.
if you don't like the idea, don't come. simple as that.
I know a lot of people who'd like the chance to see and check out the condition of an LP before buying it.
and I know a lot of people would like a shop that focuses on contemporary music and not a lot
of dollar bins and stuff you can buy online.
once again, if you dont have something nice to say. ..

audiodrive reacted to Sad Heart in post your set-up thread
I finished the cabinet I was working on. Cost under $200 and should hold about 700 albums or so. I'm just really proud of the top. Too bad you can't see too much of it. Next step is getting a separate amp for the record set up. Feels good to design and build it myself instead of going to IKEA or paying an arm and a leg for a piece of furniture. It's a nice median between the two.

https://megamart.subpop.com/releases/bobs_burgers/the_bobs_burgers_music_album
Bob’s Burgers premiered on the Fox network January 2011, and quickly became one of the most watched series on television. After enjoying the highest-rated new season premiere of the 2010-11 season, Bob’s Burgers quickly settled into an average viewership of over 4 million per episode. The show has won an Emmy award and been nominated five times, including a current nomination for Outstanding Animated Program. It has inspired many popular spinoff items, including a recent, best-selling cookbook. With the seventh season set to premiere this fall, Bob’s Burgers’ cultural influence only grows.
Now comes The Bob’s Burgers Music Album, featuring 107 songs from the first 107 episodes (all six existing seasons), plus five special cover versions of songs from the show. Originally broadcast within the episodes – and often in abbreviated form – these songs appear here in their freestanding glory for the first time. The Bob’s Burgers Music Album – in both its affordable standard editions and its impressive deluxe edition – is sure to be a top gift item this holiday season.
• The album features the main cast members – Bob (Jon Benjamin) and Linda (John Roberts) and their children Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) – singing original songs that build on the show’s unique sense of humor.
• Also featured are many of the show’s recurring and special guests, from comedians like Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Kline, Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, Zack Galifianakis, and Fred Armisen, to musical guests Cyndi Lauper and Carly Simon.
• Includes five never-aired “Bob’s Buskers” cover versions of songs from the show performed by St. Vincent, the National, Lapsley, and Stephin Merritt of Magnetic Fields.
• Three standard versions: 2xCD set, 3xLP+7”, and digital.
• Deluxe limited-edition 3 LP+7” box set includes “condiment-colored” vinyl (ketchup red, mustard yellow & relish green), plus a hardbound lyrics book with exclusive Bob’s Burgers artwork, a soft cover sheet-music songbook, three original posters, a six-piece sticker pack, and a patch. Both the standard and deluxe LP editions include the five “Bob’s Buskers” tracks on a white 7” single.

I'm seeing them on Saturday (for about the bazillionth time). If they have this, I'll probably snag one.
Edit: Also, with this being a more official pressing from the label itself, this give me hope that their other albums will get pressed someday too!
