I cannot believe they just sold a 2xLP for $30.  I immediately bought it in case it was a fuck up.

I was not expecting to buy this when I got the email. I figured it would be at least $75. I couldn't pass at $30. 

I don't think anything. Just a new pressing to put it in print again. Someone on discogs said it sounded a little better than past pressings. I just got my first copy at the show so I have nothing to compare it to.

I’m DTR / Parting Gift / Take This To Fart’s biggest critic, but even I don’t think you should feel weird about preordering from them. They always fulfill every preorder and promise.
 
You should, however, feel a little goofy about giving them your hard earned money for a subpar product to most modern records manufactured  these days. You can expect a thin jacket, gatefold or otherwise. The records are standard 140g but can arrive warped due to their fulfillment company not including packing material in the mailers. It’s a volume game and cash grab at the end of the day. Less focus on quality / presentation. It’s a shame these classic releases are getting bare bones treatment. 
 
For instance, I would LOVE to see (in person) the difference between The Early November - “The Mother, The Mechanic, and the Path” 3xLP from DTR / Parting Gift versus the version that TDR Records did years ago. TDR knocked that out of the park. ⚾️

VC is not a “what is this record worth?” kinda place. Take those queries and research to Disccogs and eBay. Not here.
Looking for info on that "rare" album you found at your parent's basement? There's a thread dedicated to that type of stuff. Post your queries there. Don't create a new thread asking info about that shitty Beatles record you found at Goodwill.

While the record is en route...I'm listening to this streaming...and hot damn! It sounds so much more bigger and open and clearer. It's like listening all over again and noticing missed details and nuances. 
 

To go back on these weird shipping prices: since they only allowed this USPS 2lbs and no other option such as priority: if they ship it media uninsured and it's damaged: you can absolutely file a claim for them refusing to sell you insurance on your package. Just something to keep in mind.
 
Also the fact they have no FAQ page or policy page that I can find is totally insane. This mega 10+ companies group is a mess.
