So why do we even have options to "up/down vote" shit. What does it prove? What does it matter? Let me save you the time and tell ya, it doesn't fucking matter. I didn't join this board to get "cool" points on some brilliant shit I might say. And trust me, I do say some golden shit. I joined to find out about releases, get some good deals on some records, and have some good conversation from time to time, which I hope you all joined for at least 1 of those 3 things.

just because i don't have to buy it doesn't mean i can't criticize it. i've supported this band for a really long time. i'll say whatever the fuck i want about their overpriced VIP packages. its not like i'm losing sleep over it. i'm probably not even attending a show on this tour. it wasn't until after the BSN cycle that circa started coming up with dumb ways to charge a lot of money for things that aren't worth it. someone of you shelled out hundreds of dollars for that terrible "hand painted" variant of violet waves.
 
also, when and where did i say art should be free? 

I took a road trip to Tucson to see Dredg play two nights in a row at Club Congress. The first night I had discovered RX Bandits as I mentioned yesterday, who co-headlined, and Dredg played after them. It was incredible, lot of energy, great responsive crowd...and they (both bands) sounded perfect! Second night, for some reason Dredg played the same set of songs for pretty much the same people from the night before, which I thought was kinda weird...but it enabled a more relaxed and intimate, listening kinda vibe. Intimate enough that Dino came up to the front mic and asked the crowd if anyone wanted to play drums for the next song. Since my friends and I were up front, they all immediately freaked out and pointed to me, making it difficult for Dino to select anybody else. My favorite band, especially at that time, picked me to fuckin play drums for them!? (!!!!!!!) Such a wildly cool experience...and afterwards, got have drinks with Dino, Drew, and Mark, and Dino let me keep the sticks. Oh, and since I had my camera, I was able to capture not only one of the greatest possible concert experiences, but also one of the coolest things that's ever happened to me. It is on Youtube.
