So my union negotiated a shit deal last week and NYC blended learning kids are able to come back into the buildings on Sept 21st instead of Sept 10th. Doesn't change the fact that most of the school buildings in NYC are 50+ years old with no central HVAC systems and poor ventilation. So we "voted not to strike" and approved the deal so I have to report to my building tomorrow to prepare. I usually teach in a cinder block room that's more of a storage room with windows rather than an actual classroom. Also good luck to us getting these varying autistic kids to wear and keep on their masks. Thankful I have a good paying job and will most likely avoid any layoff by NYC but spending $400 on your own PPE and filtration system is no fun. Also when the kids come back I will be dressed in medical scrubs, a KN95 Mask filter system, and a face shield. Can't stand my union head and the mayor.

We moved into a new house last August and the en suite has one of those shower stalls with a glass door... you know the kind.

They've slowly doing stuff like this for years. First presses and earlier presses of their stuff don't usually lose much value and they pump some money into the label. I don't understand why people have a problem with that.
 
Based off their patterns, I'd at least expect this 25 Anniversary Series to include:
Good Riddance - For God And Country
Lagwagon - Hoss
and maybe
NOFX - I Heard They Suck Live
 
They could do Tilt and Wizo, but I don't think that would be cost beneficial.
 
Also wouldn't be surprised if another band they picked up later put out an album in '95 that they could release as a "25th Anniversary" press.
 
Anyway definitely picking this up and wish they'd come around to pressing Making Friends on color, or give me a Good Riddance - Operation Phoenix repress.

I really hope this is on Ham colored, with Milk Splatter, vinyl.

I love DOTB and its LoFi shit sound. It's one of the few albums that pulled it of IMO.

All jokes aside Eric Garner was killed only 5 blocks from my high school. That hashtag never really went away. I'm not out there because COVID, and bless those that are. And fuck those apolitical and anti-government assholes that are out there antagonizing the cops to take shit out on peaceful protesters. More people now than ever are speaking up, and being out there right now is risking your life in multiple ways. I don't think business should be burnt up, but as much as that sucks its stuff at the end of the day.
