I thought Happy Sounds was excellent and wish they stuck closer to that sound. Stickfigure distro got 4 or 5 copies of the 1st Amber Glitter and sold on discogs for $22 each - that's how I got mine. I hear you though, their popularity has soared since EEM, and probably most of the interest is overseas where shipping costs are less, though they have the customs thing. Amazon UK has been very good to me the past 3 orders, with shipping of 6 days on Ride Nowhere 25!! and they even double cardboard boxed/inside the Amazon fold over mailer with 2 LPs ordered last month. The shipping is WAY less. $35 shipped from Club AC30 VS. <$25 shipped from Amazon - I don't know if it can get any lower than this, and either of the /500 variants is fine by me. Fingers crossed this makes it safely like the others. I'm getting spoiled with a good run of nondamaged jackets from across the pond. Hoping either of the first 2 by the descriptions, but the 3rd looks pretty nice as well. As long as it sounds good! Stoked for what has been released so far, and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the 10" fwiw - definitely listened to more than once. The price on Amazon was definitely a relief after all the shipping $ flushed to UK/AC30 last year on albums I was paranoid about selling out or distros not getting their usual quota like Norman records.
