jewfro
yeah that purple is so nice, but I've been meaning to pick this up on amazon for a bit and will probably go with the cheaper price for whatever variant (i'm sure black) it is.

Newbury, press something not so easy to come by. I know, "teh colorz."
Parker
I'd much rather pay a little more for this, get a nice looking variant, support Newbury and not support Amazon. But that's just me. I'll pick it up in the store the day it comes out. It's usually a couple dollars cheaper than their website price. And no shipping. bungie

Santa Bateman
Already have 2 black copies. (One that came with forget her) and another one. I'll pick this up fri/sat. The white later as well. One of my fav albums
toomanyrecords
I really want the highest fidelity on this album and I have yet to pick it up Is there any source as to where this pressing is getting the music from?
timsimmons
ORG just did a 2LP RTI pressed Grundman mastered at 45. I think I'd rather have that one than this.
synapsistapped
ORG just did a 2LP RTI pressed Grundman mastered at 45. I think I'd rather have that one than this. That $15 one above was cut by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI. I think the ORG will run you about $50.
nelso330
More readily available represses! I was praying it was, sketches for my sweetheart, When I opened the email... That NEEDS to be repressed I have a 180g pressing and it sounds fantastic... It's not MOV however
filthyrich
The $15 KG cut is easily available and, according to most folks, sounds better than the MOV and comparable to the newly-released 45 RPM version (which runs $50+). I assume the lilac variant is identical to the KG version for the pressing, if that's your thing. Sketches came out on MOV a while ago? Is it out of print? You can pick them up from about $30 still. I've never checked since I have a very nice OP. http://www.amazon.com/Sketches-My-Sweetheart-Drunk-3-LP/dp/B003G715DU
unknown pleasures
So something no one has mentioned: NC seem to be limiting this one to TWO copies per person (instead of the traditional FIVE). That's a nice change. (Too bad they're doing it with this one that got 2,000 pressed and not something like that T. Rex that only had 300 pressed, though...) Subdomestic
On one hand, that lilac coloured vinyl looks great and I'd like a copy. On the other hand, do I really need another copy of this album...

jbrana
Mine showed up yesterday with quit a bit of damage from shipping. I emailed Newbury and they were quick to take care of the situation... though since I was charged $8.99 for shipping, I'm confused as to why they shipped it Media Mail in the first place. Easy there, Karl Marx. 'The Man' can only handle so much truth from one proletariat.
