Fridge Fox
I got to go to Showbread's 10th anniversary show for No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical last night. I talked to Josh after the show and he confirmed that Nihilism is in the midst of being pressed. They had hoped it would have been done for the show but there were a lot of delays. He said that Capital was being really cooperative but there was still a lot of red tape they had to work through. Hopefully that means Capital is becoming more open to letting this stuff get pressed. He also said that Showbread is planning on making one more album and that all previous band members would have a hand in making it. docdasuess

daegor
Not a fan of the album, but if this come to fruition it means that old T&N/SS albums being pressed isn't a lost cause like we all thought.
kforkevin777
This is awesome news. This album had a huge role in my middle school angsty youth. Still the only album by them I can really listen to. As maybe now the list of other great albums from that time can get pressed!
Troy plays bass
I can't imagine myself wanting to listen to much from this album besides "Matthias Replaces Judas" regularly, but I'd still consider picking up a copy.

cbbrew22
Ok well this news just made my day. I used to love this band and would love to get my hands on this. I hope they press Age of Reptiles at some point too!
smailtronic
How much will the Kickstarter be asking for? kurtz
hobohunter48
I won't buy this, but it's really cool that they're pressing it. It would be great if they would press Age of Reptiles or do a set of Anorexia and Nervosa. Fridge Fox

SweetJerryWine
How much will the Kickstarter be asking for?I know this is a joke, but they're funding this one themselves unless things have changed since I last spoke to Josh. Bash if you have to, but they're good guys and they've been learning lots about vinyl and how to better handle pressing/releasing and such. daegor
I will likely buy this despite my disinterest in the album as I want to do my part in telling Capital that pressing the T&N/SS back catalogue is sound investment on their part. (even if it's a Kickstarter)
xxmartinxx
I've never heard of this band, but I found the album title interesting. The music is alright but they look like jerkoffs. kurtz

idreamofpunk
My girlfriend was friends with them relatively "back in the day," and still talks about them. She'll be super stoked to hear this when she wakes up.

Fridge Fox
My guess is things got complicated with capital and they bailed. It could still be in the works though. who knows. Showbread moves slowly and silently. Plus, it takes forever to get stuff pressed right noiw.
