distinctlydustin
Just spun this new press and it sounds great, no noise at all. I'm trusting you.
Dusted_By_Space
I'm trusting you. Listened through a second time with headphones, both sides were fine.
Shitty Rambo
Listened through a second time with headphones, both sides were fine. Considering this was $13.76ppd and I'm sure some paid at least $20 for the RSD copy, that means people ITT paid over $30 for 2 songs. Damn. Shelby
Is he talking about the 7" or Keep You?
parkinglot
Keep You has been out for like a year. Do people dig it? I always tell myself it's a boring record yet I still listen to it a year later.
Shitty Rambo
Keep You has been out for like a year. Do people dig it? I always tell myself it's a boring record yet I still listen to it a year later. It's pretty boring. Not bad though. To be honest I wish PBTT would do 2-3 7"s a year opposed to a 1 new LP every couple years. Their singles are always a little cooler than their albums. mindovermatter
Keep You is flawless. I honestly wish it was about 20 minutes longer! The dynamics, the production. Umph. I know I'm in the minority, but I really get into some "boring" stuff. Ghost_Parlour* and Ron Don Volante
Eliminator Jr.
To me Keep You is zero seconds boring and their best record by far. Will see them on the 30th for the first time and cannot fucking wait.
Markwatson23
Keep You is incredible. Personally can't get into the earlier stuff
suckarnasalle
Agree, Keep You is fantastic. I like their older stuff too but wow, Kyle needs to use his voice for singing rather than screaming. Yeah the songs are slow but certainly not boring at all. So happy to see them in Gothenburg in 2 weeks.
ejc625
Keep You was my second favorite album to be released last year behind My Favourite Faded Fantasy.

Rip
Keep You was my second favorite album to be released last year behind My Favourite Faded Fantasy. Keep You was my number 1 last year.

Micah511
I saw them recently, it is so weird when they play an old song with the new vocal style!Wait, what? What song? If you're referencing I'll Get By, they have always sung that one.
hippielauryn
Just spun this new press and it sounds great, no noise at all. Coming back to report on this as well. My A side sounded a bit hollow and there were two pops in the beginning that I noticed, but no static. The pops could mean I need to clean it better. B side sounds really good. Overall I would say that it sounds better than the RSD version, from what I've heard about it.
dantheriver
Wait, what? What song? If you're referencing I'll Get By, they have always sung that one. I'll Be Damned. It was cool but kind of disappointing since it cut out a lot of the intensity behind that track.
ejc625
Keep You was my number 1 last year.I listen to it more than My favorite faded fantasy. I still spin this album at least once a week. The Queen slays me. The closing one-two punch that is The Queen and Say Nothing are top notch.
Shitty Rambo
Easy. Nobody said it was bad at all. It's got a few great tracks but there's definitely a lot more snoozers than bangers.
Ron Don Volante
Keep You is perfect in every way.

distinctlydustin
I love every single song on Keep You and the Close 7", but I have shitty taste in music. I'm also, finally, accepting old PBTT.
x_doublealbumyeti_x
Keep You is perfect in every way. I actually didn't listen to them before this album. So now I'm stuck and can't seem to go back to the older stuff.
ejc625
keep you was also the first album I had heard of theirs. Now, I can't stop listening to The Lack Long After.
