Dunkpunk123
Very pleased with the sound my black variant puts out. Only a few pops at the very beginning but as soon as " murder your memory " starts it clears up and no problems on the rest of the record. Kind of bummy that the grey variant came out that way. On the real though I'm trying to get every variant so anyone letting go of that HT white ( store manager told me that no phoenix az hot topics actually got it in store ) and the FYE white & black, and the ever so lucky UK blue variant please feel free to PM me. I know asking for the blue is probably pushing it but I'm willing to pay. Thanks everyone.. P.S. I think Dizzy is my favorite track, so good! paynegretzky
Just got my grey copy (shipped to New Brunswick, Canada) and I am not noticing any surface noise or sound issues. Mine came out in a darker grey, looks pretty cool, but that euro blue looks unreal! Anyway, just thought I'd share that my grey copy sounds great, so it must be a random issue. nickxmurphy
I received my grey copy yesterday in Ontario. People really weren't kidding about the poor quality of the record itself. The jacket wasn't damaged, but the record is thin as hell (it makes a floppy sound like bristol board) and is warped. Definitely not worth $18. Giving it a listen now though, and other than a bit of surface noise in the very beginning, it's been fine so far sound wise. I guess that's all that matters in the end. C_Corday
Still waiting for my record to arrive, even though I've already received the shirt from the pre-order. KRM sucks.

smeepo
Several pages back, a user posted that "Head In The Ceiling Fan" made it obvious that TF would be progressing to the sound on this album and I'm having a difficult time making that connection, especially after Spring Songs. Am I the only one?

smeepo
Head In The Ceiling Fan is the only song like that on Floral Green. It seems way more like an interlude than a sign of progression.

Juturna90
yes Yeah I kinda feel like they were heading this way too. Head in the ceiling fan, in between and even receiving line and be a toy have that same vocal guitar tone all throughout.
Out of Breath Records
If you didn't see they were going in a shoegaze direction you must be deaf.
parkinglot
This album is the definition of average to me. Dizzy is awesome though.
thoughtsky
I feel very indifferent about this album..I really looked forward to it as I liked the idea of a shoe gaze title fight and honestly I can't even tell why I'm not 100% happy with it. Maybe it needs some time to grow on me. I wonder how these songs blend into their live shows

dvv
still think they drifted more towards a dream pop sound rather than shoegaze
biodigitaljazz
A lot of the songs are very dreamy with the shoe gaze sounds. Dizzy is fucking beautiful.

Probably my favorite track. Especially love the transition from liars love into dizzy. Hypernight is probably my next favorite track. smeepo
If you didn't see they were going in a shoegaze direction you must be deaf. I'll rephrase my thoughts a bit. Their overall musical sound makes sense. I did not expect the vocals and music to be so laid-back and unaggressive.
glass realms
This is not a shoegaze album. Dream pop perhaps but definitely not a shoegaze album.
nico
Still waiting on my grey copy, it was shipped close to two weeks ago. Obviously a good half hour after after complaining here, the mail men shows up with the record. Holy shit what a thin record, I am surprised it hasn't warped yet. Not too excited to receive my copies from GoHasting and Hot Topic if they are equal as thin. European pressing is way better IMHO.
jerseydave77
I'm not opposed to bands evolving or changing sounds but this album is dull. I've been a huge TF fan and what made their forays into this sound so appealing to me before was that it was a tempo change mixed in with all the rest of their faster stuff.
