I know that variants are usually kind of bullshit, sort of like using a glittery lure to catch a fish, but I'm still attracted enough to them to try and pick them up even though occasionally I am critical of myself for doing so.  The added layer of Susan G. Komen, however, just seems like bullshit overload to me.  Such a scammy nonprofit.  Are these releases actually affiliated with Komen, or are these artists legitimately trying to bring awareness/help to the issue?  Are some of the proceeds being donated?

The beneficiary is not Susan G Komen, it's Gilda's Club NYC, same as last year. This was organized by a friend of mine who works at RED Distribution. At least $1 from each sale will go to Gilda's Club NYC. Some bands are donating more. Last year almost $30,000 was raised and the hope is to raise even more this year.

These are getting wide release, so you should have no trouble finding them wherever you like to buy records. Bare bones info went out to stores the other day, so I think you'll see these pop up in more places. More details and corrections, such as the number of records in a each package will turn up. I doubt that these are being remastered, so if the black vinyl is a 2LP set, you can bet that the pink vinyl will be 2LP as well.

Pressing quantities haven't been announced yet. Let me know if anybody else has questions and I'll get the scoop.

Thanks for the info! Glad to see it's doing good things and making some $$$.

Only have the picture disc version on Collide With The Sky, but i would prefer to have a non-picture one. Hopefully these aren't over priced. It looks like the only one that doesn't have the price or order button yet.

Bull Moose has it available for preorder for $15.97
