DecayToDeath
I didn't think Amazon had access to that? Is it an Amazon seller or Amazon proper? I ordered from .co.uk and it shipped.

Cloudsbelow
Damn, I feel bad for chuckling at this. Dont.. what goes around comes around. Selling stuff works in my favour right now.. buying, not so much.
Cloudsbelow
i ordered from ( ) amazon.ca they shipped the other day.. curious to see what shows up.
DecayToDeath
Weird....why'd you order from over seas though? I popped into this thread a little late and ordered from the cheapest link listed in the OP. It came out to $28.82 USD. Edit: Meant to say the ( ) thread, not this one. I still can't figure out what's cheapest for Takk... since Bull Moose took it down.
simple_torture
Having worked in retail and dealing with shipments, unboxing, stocking, etc., I feel your pain...but on the other hand, that bodes well for a solidly-built set!
Canuckle
Drooling with that news Birdwell... I remember my CD version of this album now quite fitting in with the rest of the jewels cases, so I'll be putting this to the side along with the silly bag that came with Tomorrow's Modern Boxes . Derek™
Maybe he just likes popcorn don't be such a dick, Derek. I figured it was a reference to the mass hysteria that'll ensue from the first fuccboi who's unimpressed with the quality of side B on their busted-ass Crosley, and feels the need to inform the world via scornful Discogs comments. rooks
There's nothing better for skipping vinyl discs than flipping sides with buttery ass popcorn fingers. If you get the butter real deep into the grooves it'll never skip again. You can apply it directly to the stylus if you're advanced enough, but usually just rubbing your paws off on the disc directly works just fine. simple_torture
Apparently they're already out there in the wild? Somebody (apparently in Iceland?) added the release to Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/Sigur-R%C3%B3s-Takk/release/7665804

Somebody (apparently in Iceland?) added the release to Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/Sigur-R%C3%B3s-Takk/release/7665804 Who would have thought that the first place an Icelandic band's vinyl reissue would show up...would be Iceland. DecayToDeath
Has there been any indication that this is limited? I want it, but I can wait if it's no rush to buy.
itsgoodtobefree
Actually there was a pressing error with ( )...additionally, I'd have popcorn ready to see what shape this arrives in Was it a challenge to package them safely? edit: Going by your earlier post, I'm guessing it was. Hope they arrive okay.
Derek™
Considering I'm getting a mint condition copy of a $200 record for $40 or so, I could easily live with a corner ding or a seam split. As long as the press itself isn't botched, it's going to be tough for me to complain too much.
Canuckle
I have both an amazon.ca and a local store order in. I hope my local store gets it first, that way I don't have to worry about what god awful shape amazon.ca will send it (or if they will even have it). As Derek mentioned, I'm still in disbelief that I will be able to get this without forking over $200+. So pumped! EDIT: Had a nice giggle at the discogs review given the fiasco in the ( ) thread. Here's hoping that guy/gal is way off.

I have it on order from .ca .com and a certain US retailer whom I believe will come through for me. If I end up with a double i'll give you a shout. Barberbro
I think my local will come through.... I hope... My only issue here in Canada is the price. It's going to cost me $70+ from local retailer in Toronto. Hope my .ca comes through.

I ordered from Sonic Boom here in Toronto and they had 5+ copies of the limited ( ) version so I hope they can grab Takk. They took my pre-order for it so I assume they were able to secure copies. I don't mind paying $70 if it means it is coming in mint and I don't have to pay $200 for an OG or repress copy. I feel the same way about Moby's Play which is currently up at $70 on .ca
spectrum
Are there any differences between the Takk repress and OG?
