zacooper
So each year Lay's does a contest for people to make up new chip flavors. They narrow it down to 4 finalists and then actually produce those as limited chips for the summer. Voting happens all summer for your favorite and the winning creator gets $1 million and the chip stays in production. One of my friends is one of the 4 finalists this year with her West Coast Truffle Fries flavor. Check it out if you see it in the store, it's actually really good. And if you don't mind voting to help her win that would be awesome! 4 ways to vote single day (Text, Facebook, website and Instagram). Thanks and remember to #votetrufflefries! Vote through my link here to help me have a chance at some cash too! https://www.dousaflavor.com/ambassadors/6e48cbfeb8/
One Hundred Fifty-Two
No shame I tried all 4 already. I thought truffle fries was the lamest sounding one since fries and chips are both potatoes, but as far as taste they were the best. Voted twice. zacooper
+hecollec+or
I've only had the WC Truffle Fries so far (never even heard of them before this), & they are AMAZING. Your friend picked a solid flavor & def deserves to win. She's got my vote(s). zacooper
zacooper
Thanks for the kind words and the votes! I couldn't believe it wasn't already a flavor since fries and chips are so close already.
DecayToDeath
Is there an ingredients list anywhere? I have allergies and I'd like to know if I can eat them before I go out of my way to try 'em.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Flavor chemicals. Onion powder garlic powder. Not sure what ingredients you are allergic to.
DecayToDeath
Flavor chemicals. Onion powder garlic powder. Not sure what ingredients you are allergic to. - Milk - Eggs - Peanuts + Tree nuts - Seafood/fish Sometimes (usually in things like cheese-flavored chips or sour cream and onion) they use milk or whey. Shitty Rambo
Those biscuit and gravy ones look nuts in butt. Gonna see if I can find them at the store when I go to get packing supplies.
Bladewillisisdead
Anything truffle is amazing. Definitely going to try the truffle fries. zacooper
marc32137
The only flavor that interests me is the truffle one so I'll get a bag when I go to Publix tonight. zacooper
kjkenney
Tried these and they ruled. Biscuits and gravy were good too. Got a bag of Reuben ones waiting at home. Congrats to your friend that's rad!!
WinterFartSteam
Got a bag of the truffle fries and gyro flavor this weekend. I liked the truffle fries, but wish they were kettle cooked like the gyro flavor. Surprisingly, I thought the gyro flavor were really good. TheGhostOfRandySavage
Bought all four last night...because I'm a shit pig. So what, who cares?!
mappingtheyears
I tried the biscuits and gravy ones today. They weren't too bad, but I don't think I could eat a ton of them. I'm actually stoked to try the rest of them, too. The flavors they have had in the past have been kinda sketchy (ie mango salsa, bacon Mac and cheese, fucking cappuccino). cambionic
Those biscuit and gravy ones look nuts in butt. Gonna see if I can find them at the store when I go to get packing supplies. They actually taste like biscuits and gravy, but if I wanted to taste biscuits and gravy, I'd eat biscuits and gravy. diabretic and Brevity38
marc32137
I tried the truffle fries last night. Thought they tasted more like breadsticks. Still pretty tasty, but I couldn't eat more than a couple chips in one sitting.
cambionic
Call me boring, but I like the plain baked Lays.

himynameisShane
I didn't really love any of them. They were all decent I thought the truffle fries tastes a lot like sour cream and onion, but it's still probably my favorite

Guest
The gyro ones tasted like a foot. I kept tasting goat cheese and I hate goat cheese so that might've been it. Maybe they went a little strong on the onion. I LOVE tzatziki sauce, and was hoping for a stronger taste of that. I have my eyes on the biscuit and gravy ones next. Funny thing is I never eat chips, but these new flavors toally hooked me and I want to try them all. Great marketing move by lays.
DecayToDeath
I went to the gas station and they didn't have any, so I'm gonna hit Giant Eagle (local supermarket chain) later and see if they carry them.
