radiatorhums
Despite Andrew Garfield being a complete douchebag I found the 1st to be watchable albeit totally pointless. Part 2 was an overlong & tedious soap opera w/ a lame villain (Electro) & painful attempts at comedy that are never funny. I'm partial to Emma Stone but even she couldn't save this mess. I have it on my computer, so I'm sure I'll watch it someday. It'll be a good six pack and a pizza movie I think.

jerseydave77
Watched movies on planes: X-Men - Awesome Divergent - Weak Sauce I had no idea Hell on Wheels was back on. I need to catch up. I too thought Season 3 felt a bit aimless, I hate when shows wander from their strong points. It's still worth giving a few episodes to. I have followed Fallen Skies from the beginning but this season has been a bore. I have the rest of it recorded and recently met someone in the know who says it all comes together and to keep the faith. We'll see.
valve
Space Pirate Captain Harlock. I'm not into animu and I thought it was pretty fun.
Twistedshabazz
Just finished Sabotage with Arnold. Movie would have been a lot better if it wasn't so over the top violent for no reason... I am not one to care about violence in the least, but there was no need to have every person die like it was a horror movie...
ronniegwilliams
Neighbors- A big ol' meh, not too terrible, some funny parts, but overall very forgettable
radiatorhums
Neighbors- A big ol' meh, not too terrible, some funny parts, but overall very forgettable That's a great way to sum it up. It was a good brain off, beer on movie, but that's about it. I wouldn't watch it a second time.
Santa Bateman
Saw Sin City : A dame to kill for last night. What a snoozefest. Only around 10 people in the theater. Theres always more people for these Thursday night releases. Either way, movie was boring.
Twistedshabazz
Finally saw Dead Snow. Have owned this movie for years and never got around to watching it. What an over the top awesome horror/zombie movie. My fiance kept complaining it did not follow usual zombie rules. Tried to explain to her nazi zombies is not really a normal thing... Either way hope the 2nd one comes close to me in October.
Bladewillisisdead
I had friend who would complain like that during zombie movies. I finally told him zombies aren't real and movies can do literally anything they want. I blame myself for buying him the Zombie Survival Guide. Watched like 10 episodes of Bojack Horseman last night. Not GREAT but solidly entertaining.
radiatorhums
Is anyone watching You're The Worst? I think it's the most entertaining comedy I've seen in a while. The roommate falls flat for me, but the rest of the cast cracks me up.
Bladewillisisdead
I enjoy it and am in love with the actress who plays the main character (I forget her name).
radiatorhums
I enjoy it and am in love with the actress who plays the main character (I forget her name). Aya Cash and I agree. I didn't really like her in Traffic Light for some reason, but I love her in everything else I've seen her do.
+hecollec+or
Watched Norma Jean & Marilyn last night. No idea she was so fucked up. Her shitty childhood & genetics seem to be mostly to blame though. ~C+
emokid9963
Finally saw Cuban Fury last night with my girlfriend. We both enjoyed it, the Simon Pegg cameo came out of nowhere.
Twistedshabazz
A few episodes into cosmos. They definitely made it mass marketable at times but still pretty cool.
laralaurent
I'm still getting through last year's Academy Awards best pictures and I finally watched 12 years a slave. That movie is so heartbreaking and intense it made me dizzy. Extremely well made. And when I saw Hans Zimmer composed the soundtrack, all I could say was, "of course." ronniegwilliams
Watching Louie every free minute that I have (spoiler: not a lot of those right now) and it's hitting the spot. What a great show. I wonder if he's as pathetic in real life as he makes himself out to be on his show.
thebiglebowski
A few episodes into cosmos. They definitely made it mass marketable at times but still pretty cool. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would at the beginning. A lot more about history than current scientific theory. There's an official VC science thread, which has a lot of our comments captured throughout the first run through.

codeine
HBO is airing the 3 first eps of The Knick, (so, every ep that's out so far) at the moment, so I'm checkin that out. I like it, but I'm a little squeamish at the surgery stuff.
jhulud
Started watching You're The Worst on FX. Binge watched the first 5 episodes to see how it was and gotta tell ya, by the end of the first episode I was hooked. It's crass and raunchy and very relatable in all of the characters. Twistedshabazz
Saw As Above/ So Below last night. The found footage camera with this movie made it impossible to watch. I understand they want to make it chaotic but it makes you dizzy and not know what is going on. Also the script went from a cool idea to just being super cheezy. Skip this one.... Also watched the Robocop remake today. Liked the original better it still was a pretty enjoyable action movie if you look at it as a stand alone movie. I hope Joel Kinnaman starts to get more roles after The Killing and this.
thebiglebowski
Watched the Third Man. Usually like classics, was just kinda bored and not into it. Maybe it was just me..

Definitely skip.
