jaxvinyl
Trying to recall whether or not anyone at Mondo mentioned if the burlap sack / 7" Looper was a limited "Version B" release, or if it's the standard release that will be widely available on their site. This is a cool article but it definitely doesn't give the pressing/release information as well as Mondo typically does. Oh well, guess we'll find out soon enough! jaxvinyl
One can infer it will be hefty if one reads its description. Hey now, knock it off with that level-headed Jedi logic.
stl_ben
@clerk3745 I would guess $60-75. With it being in a metal slip case it's cost is going to be high. Also yeah I am guessing the Looper in a sack is the B-version, but they haven't said so that is purely a guess.

I figured as much, and I want to thank the above gentlemen for being so helpful. The initial response that I was responding to sounded like he knew what the price would be. Yeah even guessing at the price, I'm going to be all over this. I already have one Mondo Iron Giant poster and it is one of my all time favorite movies. jaxvinyl
Looper "variant" is the one with the 7". Everything will be on black wax. Was that announced somewhere?
+hecollec+or
Only took 6 months.
noalarmplanet
I'm confused is looper or Iron Giant in a metal slipcase? I checked the article, where's that info coming from? Thanks all!
RadDonut
Iron Giant is in the metal case. It looks like the Looper soundtrack will have a paperbag type cover. Obviously not generic like a paper bag but you get my drift.
iwokeinrelief
Isn't Looper in more of a burlap sack (each shot individually with some sort of firearm)? Shotgun? I'm too lazy to go way back to when they first dropped the image of it months ago.
stl_ben
They said they were shot by a Blunderbus. I would imagine those are the B-Versions.....would take lots of ammo if every copy was made like that.
iwokeinrelief
I actually kept thinking Blunderbuss but figured I was getting turned around because of the Jack White album somehow...

(There's so many upcoming releases at this point we need a FAQ haha) So excited for Shaun, I love the soundtrack so much!
agaetisbyrjun
It will first be available at MondoCon, with “a Carnival style record-throwing booth where attendees can test their post-apocalyptic zombie defense skills and earn the rarest version of the record.”That's awesome
stl_ben
hmmm...the press release I got didn't have any info on the Iron Giant details.
hippielauryn
Think all these Mondocon leftovers will go on-sale at the same time? Hmmm..good question. I don't think so. Like with the Ken Taylor prints they will probably release bits and pieces on different dates. No: Shaun of the Dead - Oct 7th 2001 Space Odessy Nov 2014 Looper Sept 23 Well, there you have it. I wish I could go to MondoCon but I don't want to pay just to go look around and then pay for stuff on top of that. I'd rather buy stuff from Mondo online then go pick it up. Pretty upset they didn't make it a free event that you could go and then pay for the extra stuff you want to attend.
stl_ben
Have you ever been to a convention? They aren't free! It cost to rent the building, pay staff, fly in guests, hotels, food.........
