But i did get chatty with the merchant dude and he said he didn't know what pressings he had since they were all shrink wrapped. My brother had gone to the tour show 3 days before and we think he got the last one of purple/white swirl cause he bought 2 and got 1 purple/white swirl and 1 all white. So when I went Friday I bought my 2 and both are all white. So I don't know what pressings they took with them and stuff but we lucked out. If it did sell out that sucks. I was explaining for the people who may not have known and also just to describe my experience. I hadn't heard they were a slip, just that there was a tour press with alternative art. I had seen a picture, but couldn't tell from the pic that it was just a slip over the regular sleeve. Just trying to help out the less informed (which at the time included myself). And regarding the comments about selling and trading : I grabbed two because I knew they were going to go quick, and I wanted to have one (or two) for myself and like @DunkPunk said to have one to sell/trade. There's records out there that I didn't have the chance to get, or missed out on so hopefully I'll be able to trade my extra for something I'm looking for. If i got it, it'd be my sole copy of this album. I probs won't end up with a copy. I'm not paying inflated/ebay prices for it. i'll get whatever variant is most readily available i s'pose. The offer someone made me for Trainwreck to trade was very reasonable as far as value goes. But i loves me some Trainwreck and i haven't even heard this album yet. In short, Yay for peeps selling/trading at cost. & i will never understand variant collecting but i think that's mainly jealousy inside of me that someone has the funds available to drop cash on 4 copies of the same album.
