youmightbewrong
It's not letting me put the vinyl in my cart :/ Does it still work for any of you all? Did you add your digital format of choice?
takeaparturhead5
Did you add your digital format of choice? I did. I'm on an iPad, not sure if that might be what's wrong... KEVIN & CO. PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!

turnstiles
I ordered it just fine and am listening now. So worth it. Is Loveless really that expensive on vinyl now? Like even the reissues? I sold mine for 40$ early last year. I'd like to have in back now...
tonyfranciosa
yeah, even the crappy Plain reissue goes for $100+ these days.

daniele
I will order tomorrow because it's still a very good hear, but i think this album is very far from their incredible past music....
noalarmplanet
So glad to have secured a copy. I love me some MBV
kannibal
My plain reissue sounds great actually Regardless of what you think, the Plain LP isn't worth the vinyl it's pressed on. It's the CD pressed to vinyl. So you are hearing an inferior version of the CD. This album is good, but I can't help but keep thinking that anyone who wanted to create a follow up to Loveless could have created this. It seems like a formula. It's sad it took him this long to essentially continue what he did on Loveless.
takeaparturhead5
Thanks timburh2001 for the tip. I'll try it on my laptop when I get home.
dreamover
why is everyone acting like this is limited to 1000 copies? youspinmeround
thievesdont
Can't really justify dropping 40 bucks on this. I find it kinda hypocritical for people to complain about vinyl prices in other threads, yet somehow find a way to defend this because "WELL IT'S BEEN SO LONG" or "ITS GONNA BE A MASTERPIECE." youspinmeround
orangesix
why is everyone acting like this is limited to 1000 copies? it does say limited. i'd guess its more like 5000
youspinmeround
I also laughed at the person who said this release will greatly increase vinyl sales this year The Beatles reissues did that, not a MBV release I think that most of you are forgetting that most people do not know who this band is

"The screamo band?" Rustles my jimmies every time. mattalica17 and reachforthesky

I find it kinda hypocritical for people to complain about vinyl prices in other threads, yet somehow find a way to defend this because "WELL IT'S BEEN SO LONG" or "ITS GONNA BE A MASTERPIECE." People are willing to spend more money on better music. I don't think that makes them hypocrites, just means they like music. If you're somebody willing to spend $40.00 on an album because it's pressed on glow-in-the-dark purple vinyl and limited to 100 copies but not willing to spend $40.00 on a great album (vinyl/cd/digital included) then I think you might be better off collecting comic books. tonyfranciosa, mattalica17 and deletedunknown
tonyfranciosa
I spend what it costs to get the releases I want. If it's too expensive for you, probably should find another hobby.
Derek™
I'm in the boat of people who bitch about $40-retail records, and can't quite justify this purchase. Yet. The album is decent enough, but the whole CD / digital scalping (and $11 media mail) is making me a little apprehensive.

tonyfranciosa
this a self-released package with no label support that I can see - $30 is not unreasonable to recoup their investment in recording/distribution.
