Goodbye To Video Rental.

Recommended Posts

Today I walking into blockbuster, and it was by far the most depressing thing; all the posters off the wall, no TVs playing, just radio over the intercom. I felt so sad as I grew up here, I knew a lot of the employees by first name, they knew my taste in movie, and video games. Though it had been 2 or so years since I had entered the store people lit up to see me. My family and I spent Friday nights here a good hour of so just picking out a movie to watch and we would go home and watch it together as a family. It's a shame the closest thing my children will get to this is flicking though the Netflix catalog. So do you guys have any stories of the wonderful world of video rental?

When the local "Major Video" was bought out by blockbuster, years and years ago, they had to get rid of their porn selection, since the 'buster doesn't carry the dirty flicks. Well, I was lucky enough to know a dude who worked there and I got hooked up with SO MANY PORNO TAPES right as I was hitting my pubic stride. That must be how you bastard kids have it these days with the Internet; new shit whenever you want it. I still had to gain access to a VCR to get it on, but when I did, oh lawd it was a free-for-all.
