I just nabbed a Sierra Nevada Fall sampler. The Vienna Lager is SO FRIGGIN' GOOD.

I missed out on those. Did grab one of the Snowpack winter samplers though. I really liked the Coffee Stout and the Boomerang IPA. The Porter wasn't bad either. The fourth was the standard pale, which is never a let down.

As far as large scale, widely distributed commercial breweries go, SN is hard to beat. I haven't had a beer from them I would consider to be bad.

That's how I feel.  I think their the best microbrewery at that scale.  They're not necessarily doing anything extremely interesting, but they make consistently very good beer.  I think their pale is excellent.  Think I'll buy a bomber of it later :)

Got some Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro for Stout Day and a badge on Untappd! Kinda thought it might not be good, but it's really fucking good!

This is pretty much my go to beer. So good.

I started tonight with a Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. Went to a Warlock, then some Dragon's Milk. Capped off the night with a Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout (2013). Great International Stout Day for me.

My buddy has one bottle left from a trip he went on (since they don't distribute to California), so we are getting our badge this weekend. I've had it before. Delicious. It's hard to go wrong with a Milk Stout in my humble opinion.

Had an Evil Twin Yin Imperial Stout for Stout Day. At 10% ABV, I was surprised at how subtle the booziness was. Decent, but by no means my favorite Stout.

Tried Two Hearted today. That shit tasted like poison. Picking up two bottles each of The Poet and Pump Kick tomorrow night.

IPAs or even just regular ol' pale ales are definitely an acquired taste. Took me awhile to come around. Something just sort of clicked and I was into them. SOMEDAY THEY MAY TASTE LIKE VERY COMPLEX CANDY TO YOU!

You're going to be so full. I don't think I've ever drank more than 1 stout at a time.

This might be helpful. Also, I googled "samuel adams guy who had that hangover thing" to find that.

I have seen that article a few times and never tried it. Curious if it works. So he is saying one spoonful for beer. So if you are going to drink 12 beers You need 12 servings? Sounds brutal

Yeah, no clue if it works either. Kinda curious as to what is actually helping here. I know when I'm hungover and stuff, I drink so kombucha and usually start feeling better, so maybe there's something with the probiotic in the yogurt? I DUNNO!?
