Bladew1ll1s1sdead
I wouldn't care either. Legendary man to me. Dr Octagon was jammed so much in high school

billya
Saw Nothing play an acoustic show last night. They sounded cool unplugged, and even threw in a cover of Something in the Way by Nirvana, and Nick closed out the night with a solo acoustic cover of Desperate Kingdom of Love by PJ Harvey. Speedpig
Just got in from seeing The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell. Really small venue, about 50 people there. Got super stoned and stood quietly at the back. Was the first gig I've been to in like 2 years. Really enjoyed it.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Going to three shows in three days later this month and they are very diverse. Saturday - widespread panic Sunday - wonder years. Story so far. Modern baseball. Monday - Dave chapelle Made it to all three. Each of them was great in their own way. Modern baseball is probably my favorite band right now so I had fun singing along to every song. Story so far have great energy and got the place moving. Singer took off his shirt and was looking fit. Wonder years played well. Talked too much but that is expected when you are a role model for the scene. Widespread panic played a pretty solid show. It was what I Expect from a band that's been playing as long as them. Dave chapelle did a set straight out of 2005. Perversion and racism. I'd expect this to turn into a one hour special because it clocked in at right near an hour and seems really rehearsed. There was no real filler in the set. Every joke seemed coordinated. That being said it looked like he was genuinely happy. So three shows in three nights was fun and I'd do it again.
birdwell
Caught BrandNew last Tuesday with Foxing and Cymbals Eat Guitars Water Liars last night (they covered a Songs:Ohia song) Watched Helado Negro the other night...dude's live show rules
iron666monkey
I saw Brief Lives on Saturday. I didn't realize until after the show that their new singer is Valient Himself from Valient Thorr. They killed it. Go check them out on tour if you can!

Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Saw Modern Baseball, TWY and TSSF. Mobo easily had the best set. I'm jealous of the man who saw Dave Chappelle. Favorite comic of all time.
Twistedshabazz
it is good to see chapelle is turning this into a real one hour set. when i saw him last summer he was very much just riffing/fucking around. still funny but seemed he wanted to find the set and now he has. Yeah, I've heard for a few years hes been doing really strange sets with a lot of it improvised. It seems like he get a real set out of all that shit. And a lot of jokes seem straight out of ten years ago.
