But not before they release one new final record, and tours to end their career as a band. The news broke this morning from pupfresh.com and the video and news is after the jump. http://pupfresh.com/post/73526881802 This came to an absolute shock to me this morning. I had no idea they were having troubles and or contemplating ending. Coming off of Vital and their latest release Devotion they seemed to be leading onto bigger and better things. Shame. They are one of my favoritest bands, but they are also quite possibly the worst live show I have ever seen. And I've seen them three times, so my opinion is solidified. I've always been fond of Anberlin as I listened to them a lot back in the Never Take Friendship Personal period, but I completely agree. Their live show is awful. which still surprises me because I've seen Stephen Christian perform in a small coffee shop with a guitar and cello and it was incredible. Stephen has said that they don't want to be that band that hangs on too long, but I didn't think it would be this soon. Not to many other bands can say that they've released 6 and soon to be 7th album in 10+ years. In my opinion, the band was coming off of their best work with vital, but the album didn't even get pushed, so I can understand how they feel about continuing.
