No arrowheads, but this FINALLY showed up! So stoked to give these a spin. The green and white look pretty awesome, but I will listen to the black ones first. Not quite sure yet on which book to read Also bought the limited Wreck & Reference and that beer/black swirl is a blast.

Bought the green retail copy. Looks and sounds absolutely fantastic. Such a great production job by almighty Kurt Ballou.

Also got a shipping confirmation minutes after my payment. Also noticed that a few minutes later he'd no longer send this item to Germany.. Then it went up 15$.. My brain will burst apart if this shows up eventually..

So both albums and the two 7"s just showed up on the sales-system I'm working with in a record store and it shows two variants for each album. One black, one colored, without any further specifications. I haven't yet read anything about an exclusive EU-variant, but that is what it seems to be. Street date is November 7th over here.

Man, that sucks They're readily available over here, got multiple copies in my store. Would love to help you out, but shipping costs might just blow things out of proportions..

I do understand the point of criticism executed in the review. This is shoegaze at it's most classic and 90's glorifying. While there's nothing wrong with that, I follow the authors disappointment in how samey and 'standard' this record is. Not every good shoegaze record has to be genre-bending, but to me the new songs just don't deliver quite as Distressor or Around did. Still this is a good and really enjoyable album, I'm down at around 7/10.

Unfortunately you cannot order the limited variant directly, but considering the fact that UN are quite unknown in Europe, 500 units shouldn't sell out too quickly.

Can't help you on whether they're digital or not, but Electr-O-Pura sounds phenomenal. Have to get my hands in the other ones, but they're pretty hard to come by already (I can feel.. + And then nothing.. in particular)

Read into the AC-model humming problems a bit and I'd be pretty bummed if it was the case. So I made up my mind and decided to throw in an extra 50 bucks for the Debut Carbon DC Esprit. DC to be on the safe side of power supplies related humming issues and Esprit 'cause I really fell for the acrylic platter. Just looks so damn fine and even if it doesn't add much to the sound quality, 50€ on top seems reasonable considering that an update down the road would cost about 130..

Ordered the finest vinyl blood red with black oil splatter/491 a few days ago. Can't wait to finally spin this beast at home, all my 20+ listens of this were on train/busrides with okay on-ears.

I'd really love to see the Best of 2LP-repress happening. Really can't decide on a favourite album, but Boatman's Call, No More Shall We Part and The Good Son are right up there. Although I also enjoy his early and more abrasive stuff, his masterful balladry always struck me the most.
