I got mine yesterday. It’s pretty slick.
 

Almost through the first disc... sounds OK, a bit noisier than I'd like but no skips. It's a gorgeous set, I love all the thought and care put into the packaging.

I'm also just really impressed with the overall package. It costs me $34 shipped from Amoeba. To see other labels releasing single lps with cheap sleeves and charging similar amounts makes me sick.

Right? I mean, who do they think they are: Hootie and the Blowfish?! 

The way they advertise their model is that they have a 30-day preorder period. So you can preorder at the end of the month. I also assume they round up though, to have a few extra in case of issues with shipments and might have a few copies make it to their webstore after the preorder period is up. Seems this has been the case with a few other pressings.

I hope the press the greatest hits. While I dig Primus, I can only imagine that i'd want to spin the hits if I am going to put it on the turn table. 

I’ll probably end up grabbing it solely for the extra bells and whistles, since this is the Avalanches record nearest and dearest to my heart.  But yeah, OG samples would be a massive get if they can swing it.  Not sure why else this project would’ve vanished off the radar for a year, so... fingers crossed.

We all said the same thing for BFT and it ended up being two despite being 30 min long and not advertised as two. His first album def didnt need to be a 4LP either. Weird there's no info at all.
