my aunt bought this album because "fuck drumpf." she doesn't even listen to rap. #resist

Finally got my copy and after a few spins it's not only the best sounding picture disc I own but also great sounding for any type of vinyl pressing regardless of the material. I guess 8 minutes a side was a good idea.

There's a couple songs but the whole album isn't this poppy.

I know of a few band dudes from the early-mid 00s scene that haven't been called out because it's not my place to tell someone else's story. It has nothing to do with "emo fangirls" and everything to do with scumbag predators preying on young girls because they're "cool" older dudes in a band.

I'm fully aware this photo is garbage but this was worth schlepping down to Banquet Records to pick up today

They tend to sell a handful of signed albums after gigs promoted by them happen (she played an in-store yesterday but I couldn't make it) and I was expecting black, *maybe* clear if I was lucky. But nope, tour purple! It's actually more of a fuchsia color, especially when held up to light. Very pretty and complements the album art well.

God. This thread is such a shitshow.

Considering that 90% of these are going to end up as wall art or bowls, it is pretty irrelevant.

Just got the purple/pink splatter!!! Looks beautiful! Hopefully it sounds just as good.

I, for one, know that there's always lurkers and people silently on the fence about records who browse this site... so being excited, thinking the record's great, and recommending it is fine in my eyes. I've been swayed a few times by knowing a record I was indecisive or tentative on was being received well.
 
Also, why squash someone's enthusiasm? Sure, it may sound redundant to you, but like - they're not trying to be condescending.
 
Regardless - the record's really good. Anyone unsure due to lukewarm reception of past albums should give it a try, arguably some of his best material.
