snacks4all
The more this sets in the more bummed i get, i dunno if a celebrity's death has ever hit me this hard.
Bladewillisisdead
Wasn't a fan of his whole comedy schtick but he was a great dramatic actor. One Hour Photo and Insomnia were both fantastic and he seemed like a good person. Really bummed to hear this news. Depression is fucking serious. There is nothing wrong with needing help. daegor
World's Greatest Dad. this movie is underrated as fuck THIS. If you want to see Robin Williams at his best, watch this movie. It's also fitting as it deals with how our society views death and people who have died.
snacks4all
Truly an amazing talent he had. It's not very often an actor/actress can make you feel those really deep feelings then be able to bring laughter like he did. A truly amazing person who will definitely never be forgotten. daegor
Depression is fucking serious. There is nothing wrong with needing help. Please get help if you are suffering from depression. Any mental illness. In the spirit of promoting the need for people/society to be more open about this: I am bi-polar. Sometimes it's crippling, sometimes it's not. Sometimes I take drugs for it, sometimes I don't (always Doctor prescribed one way or the other). It's fucking okay, you aren't broken. HybridxReality
Good Will Hunting, for sure. Probably one of my top 5 favorite movies. Wasn't a huge fan of his, but he had good roles. RIP.

Family Friendly Rap God
Supposedly he was going to reprise his role in a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel, guess that will never happen now.I just read that too I'm glad someone else showed love to One Hour Photo. Such a creepy movie.

Princess Logan
Heard about this over dinner. I'm going to hide away in my room and have a Robin Williams marathon while I pack for Florida. Feel free to join me, bring your own tissues.
bluedeni
I loved him in Final Cut. He turned out to be one hell of a dramatic actor. Sad day indeed. He will be sorely missed. Going to watch Mork and Mindy and his Happy Days episodes.

gutzonborglum
I honestly would have guessed Jim Carrey over him. But in every aspect, all comedians have a loooot of demons. I can't argue the statistic, and neither can you. When everyone you come upon looks at you to deliver a punch line, twenty-four hours a day, for your whole entire life, despite any effort you gave to have an honest conversation. it would tax your soul. The list of comedians who have taken their lives is quite almost literally endless. Edit: Roseanne hasn't died yet, so we're not quite to the 'literally' moment. But you all know what I mean. . . openupyourskull
So fucking bummed. I too can't remember the last time I was this shaken up by a celebrity death... the rumors of suicide make it all the more painful.
youmightbewrong
Just watched The Birdcage for the hundredth time the other day. One of my favorite movies of all time. Gonna have to revisit Dead Poets Society asap. Haven't watched it in years. Shame on me.

danionly
Jack, Nine Months, and Awakenings I'm so glad someone else mentioned these. I fucking loved him in Nine Months. But my favorite was definitely What Dreams May Come. It's going to be a while before I can watch that one again. I remember on summer vacation while I was in high school I'd get such insomnia and just watch Live On Broadway all night. Almost forgot: Bicentennial Man & the voice of Batty in Fern Gully.
