LOTS of Bennett and Sinatra...fucking New England...haha that's the type of stuff I see about 99% of the time. And Mantovani, Herb Alpert and the like. I check every time in hopes of SOMETHING but there are a lot of dudes that frequent the yard sales and thrift stores for anything worthwhile. throughbeingcruel
My work week is Thursday-Monday and I work late, so I can't fucking wake up and be motivated in time to get any decent yard sale finds. Always Herb Alpert and shitty turntables. And some water-damaged Floyd/Zep. Never fail to find those.
DJJazzyJoel
My first thrift store search ever turned up exactly nothing. Turns out, the place I was looking was half a block from Vinal Edge Records in Houston. Pretty sure nothing is ever going to sneak past them long enough for me to discover it, haha. TheGhostOfRandySavage
Most excited about Kate Bush and Q and Not U. Not super expensive records by any means, but still fun to find for a couple bucks! I also cheated and covered up a blue pen scribble on Hounds of Love. ::shrug::
Vince Ives
Different Damage was the first record I ever bought, lovely find!
psus2h
I found Introuducing the Beatles and yesterday and today (I checked for butcher) for a $1 total and traded those in for a copy of Metallica Creeping Death, and sold that for $75. So it was a pretty good GW day.

scumpadre
Never found anything noteworthy at any Goodwills here, but I once scored some good finds at Unique Thrift store (Chicagoland chain) for $.50 each: Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream (peach double LP) mint! Probably my favorite find ever. Daft Punk - Homework near mint The Beatles 1962-66 Double LP EX The Motown Story 5LP box set VG Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory (not a fan, but hey, it earned me an easy $100 online!) EX

andy.
My girlfriend's little sister found a copy of Dr. Dre's The Chronic today. Only wanted it for the pot leaf on the center label. She put the record in another jacket to hide it from her mom. Needless to say once she left I took it. I went back in to find the original jacket, but couldn't find it. Not sure if it even had one to begin with. Still pretty cool find tho. Maybe I'll give it back to her as a Christmas present.
Aych
The only records I ever see in the Goodwills in my area are dinky old gospel records and Xmas albums. I did find a CD copy of La Dispute - Vancouver today, though. Pretty cool find, even though it's just the CD.
donogistics
I mean it wasn't my favorite from them by any means, but it wasn't that bad Ha ha. No, I like that album. Just the idea of finding that many sealed copies of it in a Goodwill.

rsholtis
I got 8 different original Iron Maiden albums for .50 each. I was pretty surprised when I saw them all and considering I had none of their albums before that...I made out pretty well I think.
pizza face
Just found this I don't know of this band, but when I looked them up these were the original members that signed it. Not sure what's on the record though since there are blank labels on each side. Apparently it's some emo alternative country group and they were signed to victory at one point *EDIT* It's their 2005 album late night conversation, listened to the first few minutes and Googled the lyrics. Although I guess I can't be too sure of the tracklisting after that one song

ddoherty
I'd be very interested in that album. If you're interested in trading it.
