Both Neil Young and Tom Waits, to name a few, have put out vastly different albums throughout their careers, and it has only proven them to be that much more bulletproof. I absolutely love the fact that I can wake up and feel like listening to a certain type of Neil Young. I welcome the change. I agree, except that neither sold out to do it. The day before that I'd have included Wildest Dreams and New Romantics. Style is my favorite song on the album 95% of the time though. So damn good.
