For those who have never been to a show at Massey Hall, I can safely say that there's some kind of magic in the venue. I've seen at least a dozen shows there, and it has some of the most amazing acoustics (not necessarily from a technical standpoint, but perhaps from the almost accidental reverb found in old opera houses). The seats in the upper section are among the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in (and are for anyone over 5'7), but I will always sacrifice comfort to go to a show at Massey. I've seen Wilco, Bon Iver, Josh Ritter, and Hayden multiple times, but for each of them, their absolute best show for me was at Massey Hall.
