bjorn
Stoked for new Thou. And I'm happy that it's not a 2xLP. I like the longer albums, but I'm ready for something more succinct.
twatay
When I first started buying vinyl 15 or so years ago, I had also just discovered Thou. I hunted down all of their releases at that point and made the conscious decision to be a completionist with their discography (sans variants). Little did I know what I was in for, ha! Still following them all these years later. Great band. Not for everyone. prowl20 and hallowken78

thebilljim
Got my copy of the new InterArma record, "New Heaven" - 'tis vurry good. A bit more concise than their last couple records, as evidenced by it being a single LP, but the minutes that are there are all exceptionally well used. Snagging the last copies of Empires, the To Carry a Stone 7" and the Malfeasance 10" from the depths of the internet was really fun. At some point I bailed and replaced most of those with reissues and comps, mostly because I don't think I liked a single band that they did a split with other than Kowloon Walled City. I love the new single... it gives me strong (heavy) Smashing Pumpkins vibes, can't beat in my book.

lexicondevil
Metal Blade prices have been seriously ridiculous for a while. Seems like a lot of labels are catching up to their stupid pricing. I stopped buying If These Tree Could Talk when they signed to MB.
JohnMatrix
I will never buy a Metal Blade record that is not Cannibal Corpse thanks to their ridiculous prices. likeweeds
