Spending an Evening With Saddle Creek: if you like saddle creek bands. and Blind Melon's "Letters From A Porcupine" is an honorable mention as well. daver2980
3 great ones haven't been mentioned yet Scratch (if you are into hip-hop/turntablism) If I Should Fall from Grace: The Shane MacGowan Story Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest (brand new)
almightyseancore
Scratch (if you are into hip-hop/turntablism) 2 hours of people destroying records! it's so worth it tho. the mixmaster mike set with the white zombie sample (the only thing i've seen from this film) was rad. jerseydave77
It's obscure but Lonely Boy about Paul Anka was a ground breaking film and still a favorite of mine. I'm biased but I think folks here would actually like Shut Up & Sing about the Dixie Chicks controversy. (don't need to like their music to dig the film) Gimme Shelter is the greatest music doc of all time. No doubt in my mind. Biggie & Tupac is fun and I didn't see it listed above. Nick Broomfield also did Kurt & Courtney which was worthwhile as well.

Boojie Horsie
trying not to name anything thats been mentioned Hotel California from The Byrds to The Eagles (very interesting stories, lots of young neil young ) Classic Albums The Doors (its in 2 parts but the torrent should have both, its just crazy drug stories and interesting people who are a lot younger and vivid than i anticipated) Open up and say Chi Pig (its just sad and not that well made but well worth it. not just for SNFU fans) Band on the Run Documentary (came with the special edition of band on the run reissue but torrent is available, it made a bunch of my friends listen to the album) Cocksucker Blues ( its slow paced and doesnt really have a story but if your curious about how it was being in The rolling stones in the early 70s this is it. Just a fascinating unexplainable glimpse into their touring life) and the links from the post before has a lot of amazing stuff, especially nick drake, Metal, pixies and modest mouse. Also theres a few hiphop ones but the one on A Tribe Called Quest is amazing. thanks to the people that posted, ive added a few things to my playlist
