So that PopPunkRadio guy came back and downvoted a bunch of my posts again. I wish he'd just approach me personally if he has a problem with me  :P

Gotta love the internet, and people.

High school was only cool for hanging out for friends more often, since we had no other responsibilites. I'd rather be an adult too. Just don't take HS so seriously, if you want to get into Harvard or whatever try your best, just don't overstress yourself about it. You'll have plenty of that later on. Like it was said before, make time for friends, do new things (drink, do drugs, fuck, whatever you want or don't), just don't waste away studying.

maybe that's why I hated HS so much. I was more focused on my sports and academics, and didn't really have many friends. I was never invited to any of the parties....ever. It was so lame.

I'm getting a pretty "meh" vibe so far. If I couldn't bring my computer for "notes" it'd be fucking miserable. Watching the new project from KEY in the back corner of history so that's cool. Not great so far but not terrible.

When I went to High School... we weren't allowed calculators let alone computers

High school was cool because I didn't have a job or any responsibility. I didn't really have friends until senior year and I hated every second of the social nightmare that is adolescence.

Being an adult is much better. I can drink, fuck, do drugs, and anything else whenever I want. None of the "oh shit what if we get caught" nonsense.

That's a sick fucking stage dive. None of that bullshit "awkwardly lay on top of the crowd" garbage.

I'm surprised I never got hurt doing that shit. There was a venue here that briefly did hardcore shows. Their stage was probably 5.5' high. Poison the Well played Slice Paper Wrists and I decided to launch off a monitor. Shattered some kid's glasses and had a baseball sized bruise on my hip for a month.

That place didn't do hardcore shows for long.

I saw all those people doing that lame front roll thing. I hate that; so half-assed. I was like "Awweeeee hell no. I'm launching myself off this floor monitor". Apparently I was getting a good 5ft up at times. Haha. So much fucking fun.

That's impressive at the Canal Club. That stage is not high at all. Loved going to shows there. When did you live there? I bet we were at some of the same stuff. I went to shows in RVA and Norfolk between 09-12 when I lived down in Hampton.

We were upstairs so thankfully there was more room. I wouldn't have been able to stage dive as much as I did if it were downstairs.

I lived there from 2000 - 2012. I bet we were at some of the same shows. I use to go to the Norva all the time back then too, before it got bought out.

Ah! I forgot about upstairs!

Haha that's cool. I'm trying to remember the other places in Richmond I've been to other than the national. Some alley place and I want to say kingdom. Canal club was my favorite. I feel like I hated everything about the norva. The people there sucked.

I forgot I had to work tomorrow, so I guess going to bed early tonight for a 730 am shift. No plans for Saturday night, but am hoping to have a bonfire if it does not rain all day. It's supposed to be in the low 50's at night, perfect weather for a bonfire.
