radiatorhums Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Retropie and Kodi as a boot option inside the Retropie front end. Kodi works fairly well on a RPi. Has some issues streaming, but locally attached media plays fine. Retropi was awesome last time I used it. I've read they have better controller support now too, that was an issue we hit. Retropi was awesome last time I used it. I've read they have better controller support now too, that was an issue we hit. My issues had been mostly making Kodi work from inside RP. Controllers work fine. I'm going to make my own USB controllers from original controllers but I need a soldering iron because the one I have isn't hot enough. Can anyone recommend a good one? Fuck that shit, I'm not going into work tomorrow if we get 8 inches of snow. They are also calling for freezing rain in the morning tomorrow, so double fuck that shit. Alright, I'll look around. Thanks for the info. My biggest concern is making a USB TG16 controller because they don't make USB adapters for them like with Nintendo stuff.I do need to find a TG16 or PCE game pad though.
