Guest Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 When my first record came out, I screwed up 4 shipping labels and had to void em. They refunded all of em, and pretty quickly too. I have been selling for years, and have never screwed up before. I was in a hurry, since I had to use my parents printer since my crapped out. nobodybrokeurheart Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 The past week has been a rollercoaster of wins and losses i am flat broke (slow season for restauraunts + furlough making it even worse = nicky has no money) but i got a new job! but when you switch your income from tips to a regular paycheck you don't see ANY income for 2-3 weeks until that first check comes in. i'm selling nearly fucking everything in my room on ebay that isn't records to make it through this month (well i'll probably sell a couple records) i already made $150 off of just 2 auctions. my car loan is due next tuesday. i asked the bank if i could skip my payment just this once to help me get through this month (i have never ever been late or missed a payment) they said no. was sent a porno of some chick who happens to be the sister of a dude i don't like. wrote down the link and left it on the hood of his car (i'm counting this as a win) some guy in town made me a balloon animal turtle (also counting as a win) i need my life to re-stabilize. We had this statewide (which I think spread to the entire northeast) tornado watch for most of the business day and at around 1pm our power went out in the office from the wind. Nothing really happened after that except for a little rain. It was still weird lol. Overall things are pretty good. Congrats on the job! I hope you're enjoying it so far. I'm really sorry about your finances right now. That's such a bummer that the bank won't help you out (though I can't say I'm not surprised =\) & on top of that, waiting on that first paycheck after switching jobs is the worst.
