GHOSTDRONES
D.C. Actually, Columbia, Maryland. Weird. It's tough to keep track of the Discord bands sometimes.

GHOSTDRONES
the ones outside DC are still pretty close by They are... but when you read up on the DC scene, it took a while for non DC bands to be accepted.
jhook
Scream is my favorite Dischord band, Still Screaming is a masterpiece.
jhook
I listened to a podcast recently and the guest grew up in the DC scene during the height of Dischord. He said it was more of a Dischord/non Dischord rift. Basically if you were not on the label you weren't shit.
DecayToDeath
Ghost, I just looked up Wolf Eyes--do they really have THAT many albums in such little time?

DecayToDeath
Yes sir Without having listened, is it actually good? I mean, Buckethead had 118 albums last year alone, but I'm sure most of it is just him recording whatever comes out improv-style for 40 minutes with no concern for quality. That depends on the listener. Noise is a tough nut to crack. To most, it's just that... noise... but to some, there's something there. For them thus far, I would say they have 4 essential recordings and another 7 to 12 pretty good ones, but I only have heard about 60 releases. Sad Heart
And Void is more D.C. than Maryland to me. They recorded at Inner Ear, and signed to Dischord. But that's just me. Also, this:

Sad Heart
Great comp The only shitty thing is I go to DC every so often to dig for awesome great DC punk and NEVER find any. I always just resort to ordering straight from Dischord.
DecayToDeath
Tonight I listened to Meet The Residents. It was thoroughly confusing. I think I liked it.

Dominic_
Fucking android is really pissing me off. For some reason only one music app is detecting all of my music and I can't figure out why. I have tried five or so apps and most of them only pick up the same 1/8th of my library. More than anything pissing me off because I have no clue what's causing it and I won't let the fucking phone beat me.

Download an eq settings app if you must but default music apps work best for me.
