collectivemike
I'm gonna go ahead and guess that everything people don't like about the new song were Butch Walker's contributions. I think they said the single was the only song he co-wrote with them on the album. I'm not so sure. I listen to that song and hear a natural progression, like they're taking the next step right where they left off. Every time they've changed they've just gotten bigger so I can't really blame them. It's just not for me anymore. EmoVeganBoy
daysaves
I like the new song more than I thought I would based on the reviews in this thread. It's not great, but it leaves me cautiously optimistic for the rest of the album. Is there a presale for tickets somewhere? On their site it says February 8-9. Guest
fuuuuck yes and fuuuuck my wallet Weird they are playing Roseland. I could see them playing somewhere larger.
idreamofpunk
I just got 4 tickets for Columbus through The Decibel Club (Promowest Live's... Thing...) for $50. They were up on the site and taken in seconds. I'm stoked. Our friend is super stoked to only need to pay me back $12.50 for her ticket. openupyourskull
As far as the new song goes, I actually think it's okay. It's very, very different though. I'm interested to see how the new album sounds. I'm going to try to get tickets for my sister and I on Friday for Boston. These things are going to sell out instantly even at 42 bucks a pop... benjo09
Wow the London date is in a tiny dive of a club that most small punk bands play.
saxonviolons
Any way you can buy the LP without getting a poster?
3arl
Any way you can buy the LP without getting a poster? You can wait til it's released and go to a record store and buy it.
companyinkrecs
I don't know if this was mentioned yet, but this song is going to get a shitload of play inside sports arenas during play stoppages, bank on it.
konk
As a person that has always liked FOB songs on the radio but has never bought anything, I thought that song was really good.
Kyle_ftl
I have that song stuck in my head at all times. Ridiculous. Probably waiting until release day to buy this record, or just not buying it at all.
konk
I'll probably buy the cd for $7.99 at Best Buy or price match it somewhere.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Wax on Radio put out some new music, hmm. Could they be opening for fall out boy? Empires would also be a cool choice. Since these aren't huge venues they don't need any support to sell the venues out. Have there been any openers at these first few shows? stl_ben
New Burning Empires EP is finally available...for those that want to feel more hardcore than FOB, but still hear Andy on drums.

taylo234
No, I'm just a closed minded asshole when it comes to nostalgic music haha. Probably the only reason I didn't like Folie that much when I first heard it was because it wasn't FUTCT. My childhood just wants them to never progress and stay the same

chutterhanban
Yup. still in my head. I'm a Slave4U, FOB. Ew, gross. I'd delete this post but I need to be held accountable for my actions.
noalarmplanet
Ok, so after listening to both IOH and Folie i've found the problem. I took FOB too seriously when I was younger. I used to tell everybody i knew how I made FOB a mixtape that patrick told me they kept on their tour bus because they loved it. I was in OCK and still have my "Secret order of FOB" shirt. I took that band so serious. IOH and Folie are fun records. very fun. I don't think I had allowed myself guilty pleasures in my life yet and that's why I initially hated them. They had "Sold out". Its FOB, nobody cares so have fun! chutterhanban and searos

Nothing is changed in that aspect. lfisher

searos
By technicality this song fits the literal definition of 'Rock And Roll'. Noun A type of popular dance music originating in the 1950s, characterized by a heavy beat and simple melodies. drownmeinestrogen
