omik11303
I've been spinning I Was Here For A Moment... all week. This should be fantastic. (And I, too, would be down with some translucent vinyl). brianmorgante
The Pray For Sound tape I put up last week through Flesh and Bone is now streaming in its entirety as of today. The band only wanted one song up for a week, but now you can listen to it all. Check it out here. I know some people were waiting to hear the whole record before deciding to order or not. If you're into it, you can still grab one of the tapes here.

Pnumekin
I think you might like these bands : L'Objet, math/post/whatever rock, you should check both http://structurerec.bandcamp.com/album/plank (available on vinyl) and HARPAGèS http://structurerec.bandcamp.com/album/au-moment (not on vinyl, only given on CDr on demand if I remember correctly) 2kilosandmore, a great mix between electronica and post-rock : http://2kilosandmore.bandcamp.com/album/kurz-vor5-album-2012 (only on CD) Enjoy ! Great to see you here Pnumekin! Thanks for the rec's Will post later Kingster: if you are missing new TPSQ, check out track 1, "October"... I AM WOLVES EP debut ! http://iamwolves.bandcamp.com/album/i-am-wolves-debut-ep Track 2 is Caspian - vibe, but I am guessing Evan will go ape about 3:20 to the end on October... Track 3 more typical postrock ups/downs/walls/quiet Still thinking about Terraformer and trading out with you....don't give up on me yet
mrewest
Nice, I'll be checking those out asap. No worries on Terraformer. I like both copies enough to keep if you decide against it I like the clear because it's more limited but that black splatter is sweet looking. So I don't even know what I'd want to give up! YEAR Vinyl available. Less than $20 only /200http://music.yearband.com/ I enjoyed this too. Some good shoegazey vibes in there. abovetheearth
A bit pricey for an album that's under 30 min tho thats a different way of looking at it. i dont really pay mind to time of an album as i dont look at it as 'paying for minutes'. if there was one track id like, id pass. two, and id consider...but every track is decent. i like the sound. a lot. and with an edition of only 200 and most likely never to be pressed again, im a buyer. mrewest
I shoulda prefaced my statement with "I have to pick & choose wisely what I spend my $$ on right now" because of the ITTCT deluxe pkgs & the Cloudkicker represses I'll be buying. If I didn't have those to buy, I'd probably still get the Year EP. I liked it enough to still buy under different circumstances. I just have to really cut back right now. Now, after a few more listens who knows? I can always change my mind. I for sure liked it enough to revisit. I lump this into the same category as that Vasudeva album. I really enjoyed it, I just have to cut out some things for the time being.

The band structure cover a lot of sonic ground on "when" which was very pleasing overall - sometimes reminding me of mid-years Maserati approach to writing, though not sounding exactly like them. "plank" - i liked a bit more, especially as you pointed out, the 'math' portions- which usually appeal to me if not so spastic or savant. very good listens! kurz vor5 up tomorrow hopefully. Pnumekin
You're welcome Don ! I actually made a little mistake (fixed in the original post : the first link is from L'Objet, the second one is from HARPAGèS. Both are same members actually. If you preferred Plank, you'll enjoy their second EP http://structurerec.bandcamp.com/album/monorail and even maybe their first album http://structurerec.bandcamp.com/album/lobjet (both on CD only, sadly).
