mac1
There is some sort of connection betweeen USPS and FedEX that has not been figured out. I believe the USPS may be the "finishers" on some packages shipped thru FedEX. Ebay shipping also offers FedEX now. There used to be FedEX boxes at the USPS but I believe they are really working together but cannot put my finger on the connection. That's what I was thinking. Also could explain the move to FedEx for a lot of the newer orders.
derrickcook19941
according to fed ex this is supposed to show up tomorrow, yet all it says is shipping info received on the 17th...hahah fat chance

That's FedEx SmartPost where they handle getting it to your local post office and then the mail carriers take it to your door. These aren't being shipped that way because SmartPost uses USPS tracking numbers and these are regular FedEx numbers.

nfgsk8er18
Ugh. Still no change for mine, and I am leaving town for 8 days. Tried having FedEx hold the package, but they keep telling me that the number I am giving them has not been activated and they cannot do anything until it has been activated. Any of you guys getting that answer as well?
marc32137
My box set is still "initiated" but my holiday bundle is now "in transit-shipment exception". And of course the only response I get from the band on Twitter is "sometimes we print the label before the day that the vinyl actually ships. It will be on its way shortly." mac1
My USPS tracking number states package was processed thru Providence. Definitely getting something next week. Can't wait. mac1
Good and bad news. The package arrived via USPS in LP box with "extra" postage attached. The postage may have been the hold-up in SF as the printed label said First Class and pretty sure you cannot send anything over 16 oz. via this method. But crap, they only packed one of the two self-titled copies I ordered. Not looking forward to working with "customer service" to clear this up. David The Gnome
Got all of the records I ordered with 3eb's patent-pending Priority 2-Week delivery method. Every album arrived with crushed corners and bends in the sleeve openings. I am so happy to wash my hands of you, #jenkins. edit: Frustrations pretty much melt away upon spinning. castaway
TFP
Do you guys think the albums in general will be sent to record stores?
TimFeerick
Do you guys think the albums in general will be sent to record stores? Most likely not. My brother works at Dimple in Sac and the computer has no listing. They usually get a release date listing at least a few months in advance. johnc37
Received S/T, Blue, and OOTV today. Never had any updates from USPS tracking other than pre-shipment info. Haven't listened to them yet but they look to have survived the shipping process well.

bluessinger
I think the packaging on S/T is very lackluster considering it was an almost a $40 record. I've seen kids in tiny bands pack a better product with 1/100 of a budget. Alas, knowing this is mainly a cash grab in the end, I'm just happy to spin this without having to hurt my wallet on eBay. Royce
Do you guys think the albums in general will be sent to record stores? Doubt it. I called waterloo today to see if they were getting copies and they had no idea it was even out.

nfgsk8er18
Still stuck at "initiated" and instead of the delivery date being December 21st, it says N/A. Anyone else get that?
