Bladewillisisdead
Just realized that live albums arent eligible. Since I can't vote for Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense (the greatest album of all time, so it does't even NEED this) I'm going to go sulk and think of another S album. Edit: Duh, Talking Heads - Speaking in Tongues Runners up: Carissa's Wierd -Songs About Leaving End of a Year - Sincerely My Heart to Joy - Seasons in Verse ptrsev

Green Tea Papi
Shrines - Purity RingI know most of you haven't heard this album, but this honestly one of my favorite albums of all time, (Yes I'm picking this over Joy Divsion's Still). I don't know how to ever begin to describe the sound of Megan James and Corin Roddick, Think of it as Clams Casino, meets James Blake, with influence from Baths and Beach House; Megan's voice is childlike and high and echos as she sings rather dark lyrics on this album filled with glistening and hypnotic synths and drums. This is the kind of album that you cannot just listen to one song it's a collection and every song is a hit. This is one of the best put together albums I've ever heard, it's sexy, dark and just a bit "Chanel" for lack of a better term.
