A lifetime of off key MW emo dudes sets you up to not be turned off by bad vocals I guess. Shit’s tight.

just read the Ian Cohen p4k review and it’s pretty good. He really does GET why the two different vocal styles work and vocalized it in a way that I wouldn’t have. 
All I know is my first play though i was for sure thinking to myself “wait who TF is this guy?” when nasaly dude jumps in after digging the first vocalist (that second song slaps btw). But when he comes back in on You’re Gonna Hate it all makes sense.

Yep I'm in Blushing, rhythm guitar. Our label gave us an update that the pink vinyl was close to selling out and so I figured I would get the word out here if anyone might be interested. So glad you got one of the 5 that we took over the border, that Toronto show was a blast! Stoked you got a blue galaxy swirl, there are no more of those left, only pink.

Same here . I got a bunch of other stuff on Merchnow a few days ago on huge sale but missed these and glad I came back to this thread as I would of totally missed getting those first 2 albums by Attack Attack for 11-12 dollars each .

Also, I'd like to add that this was shipped in a normal record mailer (non-whiplash) with no cardboard backing or bubblewrap protecting the record. So don't be surprised if you get any dings, creases or bends.

Got mine yesterday and it was packaged the same way.  Somehow showed up in great shape still.  I  can't remember if I requested it, but my LP was shipped outside the sleeve too.  Mine has a bit of surface noise on the A side at the start of a track, but overall pretty clean sounding.

those complaining about surface noise must not be familiar with previous Whirr pressings lol 

You guys might know me as the guy who trolls on other threads like 98% of the time and if not, well, hello. I am updating this thread because I would like to be more active with my label (which mostly releases tapes now). YEARS ago, I put out a lathe. Not many copies. I couldn't really write, sing or record for shit (probably still can't), but I am putting out a new EP called "Jubilee" soon. I have some singles on Bandcamp as of right now. It will be 5 songs. My real question is: If I do another lathe run of these would anyone have any interest in them? I would do a run that fulfills the demand even if there were as few as 10 or 20. Also, I have a folk tape I just put out for a friend and folk musician who past some years ago available on my Bandcamp called "Blake Mackey: Collected Works Vol. 1 & 2", I have a slowcore release slated to come out in a few weeks from a long defunct band and I am putting out an official tape for Hunt the Dinosaur's "Dankosaurus".

Kind of eating my words on this album. If you can get passed the cringe lyrics this album is actually pretty good. It's short but every time a song comes on my Spotify, I find myself enjoying it a lot more than I expected.

Currents will likely go down as the last great Kevin Parker record....These new singles are repetitive, boring and, frankly, uninspired. But if you've kept up with his journey even a little, you know why. Writer's block that comes with success. He's pretty much forced the material....GODS, take me back to the first time I heard Apocalypse Dreams. Wow. We won't be getting that caliber of writing anytime soon.

This new record is really strong... I'm getting tons of Silver and Gold era SF59 vibes, but they throw enough left turns throughout the album to keep it very engaging.

I can't comment directly on the sound of this particular release, but I do have a bit of info going forward. 
Tooth and Nail (Solid State)  has begun to turn their vinyl production over to a new individual. There are a few things that were already mostly done before the switch (this, the first Chariot, SF59 Gold) so I would expect them to be mostly like what they have been putting out. 
 
BUT, by the end of the year there will be a number of reissues that will be done via the new process. There is  some stuff that people have been asking for for a while, as well as a couple titles I personally never thought would happen, being pressed for the first time. What does that mean?
 
- Expect MUCH improved vinyl mastering. ( I have heard the test pressing for one of these releases and it was stunningly clear)
-Less bare bones packaging, reimagined art, more unique detail on any particular release
-Less plain solid colors, more inventiveness in the vinyl colorways
-I would also expect a little better marketing. Most of their stuff has just been dropped haphazardly when it comes in. I think they will hype a few things a bit more.
-A lot more involvement from the bands; Forewards, special input on artwork etc. 
-Pricing may vary more on the new stuff a little more than it has. T&N is NOT making much on vinyl as they have to license virtually every catalog title. When they sell stuff @$10 I would bet that is breaking even or maybe even below cost.  Depending on the inventiveness of the packaging, I would expect a few titles to cost more than $20. The only difference this time is the price should be worth it.
