Hmmm. Honestly pretty boring new song "Punching Bag". 4 minute song about how punching a punching bag gets your anger out.

"The Window" will likely be a forthcoming single and it is a killer track.

Fixed it for all you weirdos. I accidentally left the formatting on. Was rushing off to work.

It's 2023. We have a new Say Anything song. I think it's pretty good.

Seeing the flippers squeal on this one was nice. I was watching the eBay prices for the last variant all week. Just kept sliding and sliding. Some people maybe not in the loop are still holding out for a $350 paycheck.

Love the single, hope to hear some clean signing on future tracks too.
My favorite ETID stuff is the groovy / melody driven tracks, and while I always loved Greg's vocals, I never felt cool enough to get into the majority of DEP.

They’re skipping California completely so couldn’t go if I wanted. Maybe they have another tour to announce instead?

Also, am I the only one not digging the song immediately? It kinda seemed like generic parts of ETID and DEP slapped together. I kinda like some moments of calm in my ETID songs. This one was kinda go-go-go. I kinda spaced out and wanted it over half way.

I really enjoyed the second half of the song more than the first half. Sounds like they’ll have the potential to combine their talents more effectively as they play together more.

It is 1:30AM. Just got back driving from one side of California to the other and found this package. Decided to open it to see what I got. +1 point for being two things that I somehow didn’t have.

Got a test press for Donovan Wolfington’s “How to Treat the Ones You Love” and a Silver Pressing of The Jazz June’s “After the Earthquake” Also included were like 6 label stickers, a Bandcamp paper for their 2021 Sampler, and 3 posters (Really From “ST”, Sorority Noise “It Kindly Stopped for Me”, and Pianos Become the Teeth “The Lack Long After”)

So not the greatest value at $147 shipped, but I get that it was mostly for them anyways. I won’t be an asshole about it. I do dig the DW release and jam it semi-regularly. I have only listened to that JJ record maybe once though so we shall see. Posters may honestly be the thing I was most excited for.

Yesterday on Taylor from Webbed Wing/Superheaven's podcast they said a kid read their merch sign and asked what they were selling "seven inches of."
Like, they didn't know what a 7-inch was, and thought they were selling seven inches of something.

I think with with inflation/supply chain/bad profit margins we're slowly burying the 7-inch...

Reddit...so far in my measly 3 days of having joined, feels cluttered and in certain communities, was too many morons posting asinine shit.

The random Japanese OBI thing from non-japanese shops is by far the dumbest gimmick I've seen recently. It's like the vinyl version of a white dude in a kimono.
