Agreed.  I’d wait 2 years for a pressing orf What Doesn’t Kill You.  One day….hopefully.

If I've learned anything throughout these COVID times, its that people have become even more so irrational about any delays then they were previously were.   Anyone who wants their money back, more power to them, I could see this as a one and done pressing so it'll be their loss.

I've updated the thread title to reflect the BF list being revealed.

I thought it was supposed to be delayed to ship mid September, but someone commented the labels FB page asking if they had any word on when they'd be shipping and the response was
"As soon as we'll have final info, we'll let everyone know, but it'll be delayed a bit for sure..."

The band said awhile ago that it was delayed, but was supposed to start shipping around now I believe. 

Took a long time to finally track down Anberlin's Stranger Ways 7" for a not too insane price. That finally arrived today, and completed my Anberlin collection. All variants, and all comps (only two that I know of). This also includes the RSD versions of Cities and NTFP (left) and the 2012 reissues (right), which are pretty much identical. The only difference being the RSD versions have a slightly creamy look to the covers, while the reissues are a more pure white. Also included is the vinyl/CD hybrid thing with the I'd Like to Die B-Side on it.

I really want this and will try to get it eventually, but I'm going to do what I did for OKNOTOK and wait until sound quality reviews come out to hear which press is considered the best. I'm assuming they'll have different presses for USA vs EU/UK.

Received an email about this and went for the Coke Bottle Clear. Hope this sounds great. Looking forward to it.

I'm just gonna bump this thread for any Mutemath fans out there. Armistice (their second and second best LP) is up for vote. It would be deluxified on color for first time. Yadda yadda. My wife would appreciate this release happening, so if you plop a vote down, thanks!

TL:DR - The latest 45rpm repress is the best sounding, in my opinion. Hope this may or may not help anyone on the fence about getting this latest pressing. 
 
With the wife out of town, I finally got a chance to compare the OG press with the 33rpm press and the latest 45rpm repress. 
 
Disclaimer: This is the opinion of one person, and I won't claim to be some audiophile. This is just based on my ears, which may not be the greatest anyway. 
 
Setup: Pro-Ject Classic Evo w/Sumiko Amethyst; Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier; Focal Aria 936 speakers 
 
Test track (listened to multiple times swapping between all pressings): Part 2
 
I'll start with the 33rpm press. This was the worst sounding, and it wasn't honestly that bad. Basically, it sounded like all the instruments were in a tunnel stacked on top of one another. That doesn't mean there was echo or a tunnel-like sound, but simply everything was placed directly in front of you, with no separation. Despite this, everything sounded relatively clear.
 
Next, the 45rpm OG press. As soon as I put this on, I could hear the difference. There was a stage. Everything was spread out and clear. I enjoyed the extra depth it provided. But maybe too spread out? Lastly, it felt a bit bombastic when everything kicked in midway through. (Go listen to the track and you'll know the part I'm talking about. Sorry for the poor articulation.)
 
Last, the latest 45rpm repress. What makes it better? Basically, it takes the separation and hones in instruments and sounds, along with providing additional clarity on certain instruments. Some instruments like the acoustic guitar are front and center, while the electric sounds off to the sides. It's this added detail and focus that puts this in the top spot for me.
 
With all of that said, unless you have a system capable of that kind of detail, I'm not sure you'd hear a difference between the OG press and the latest repress. Again, all just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. 

iirc Tosin shared an update about recording being done on AAL instagram, before they deleted everything over there and posted only the latest single.

Ordered black from my local store then saw the coloured but missed out there. My original copy is one of the best sounding vinyl I own so hoping this lives up to it!!
