The double Music for Airports was pressed at Optimal.

I knew the paranoia was warranted. This was posted by Petey on the Stereolab forum:
 
"I've no idea what has been going on at Beggars but the US office decided to press the 2008 version onto clear vinyl, keep the 2008 sleeve but put a PURE11LPX sticker on it – I'm more than a little annoyed to discover this.
I've been told that this ‘hybrid’ edition is being re-called and replaced with the re-mastered version with the updated sleeve. If you would like a replacement then please e-mail – [email protected]
I'm still waiting to find out if the digital versions are being updated to the re-mastered tarcks – I can't see why this wouldn't happen."

They were probably able to do the reissues of Fuzzy Logic, Radiator, Mwng and (presumably) Guerrilla on their own because those were originally released on Creation/Placid Casual. Rings was their first official Sony album so Sony probably currently own the rights to it and can license it out. 

LOL well shit. I bought the deluxe box set and my download card only gave me a digital version of the main album. I'm guessing they put the wrong download cards in the wrong versions.

Amazon Canada still hadn't shipped my order so I contacted customer service to find out if they had an estimated ship date. Without even asking the customer service rep then upgraded my shipping to Priority Int'l shipping and told me it would ship tomorrow for delivery by Friday. When I looked at my order details, it showed that he removed the shipping charge altogether so I'll end up getting the box for $144. Score!

I figure there's gotta be some 'A' fans on here, given all of the Brit rock bands they've (more than likely) influenced that are popular on VC
They're finally pressing their third album, Hi-Fi Serious, on vinyl to coincide with their upcoming UK tour.

What they (Warner Bros) need to do is finally do reissues of Earth Vs, PHUQ, and Fishing for Luckies. Really just Earth Vs since I already have OG pressings of the other two.

Sounds like there hasn't been much improvement vocally. I just saw a live video of Blue Line Baby and it wasn't great. I've seen them 3-4 times now and their vocals have always ruined it for me. I'll continue sticking to their studio output for now.

I thought they were really good, Nicky had Bob Bruno play guitar for Vertigo Flowers and he was going full front man and it was pretty awesome to witness. Culture Abuse was really good too, I've seen them about 3 times and it's pretty impressive how good they have gotten. I still have a bruise on my hip and my chin from the pit haha

Better, but no, not really. Luckily the wall of sound is predominantly guitars and they’re excellent in that respect 

it's officially out on Friday. i'm assuming Epitaph/KRM will send the full download then as well. 

So it looks like they changed the most limited variant to cloudy clear with black color in color (from white with black color in color). They're starting to ship them out. But I guess I'll pick one up at the show as well. I'm really excited because they're pretty goddamn great live. 

My local shop (and Amazon) now has this coming out Sept 28th. I didn't see the merch table but everyone seemed to have copies leaving the Chicago show last week. Can't recommend enough to go see them live if you haven't before.

They raised the prices on Earache now.

The Rhino press is garbage.  Earache's twitter showed the master, so hopefully the vinyl will be cut from that and not whatever horrible source Rhino used.
